Pet Care of Charlottesville offers personalized in-home pet care services from 30 min. visits to 24-hr overnight care in the client’s home. We also offer private in-home boarding. When our owner’s property is not booked for boarding, the yard is available to book for use on Sniff Spot.

I’m a dog trainer and I run a dog boarding/daycare from my home (hence all the different fenced spaces). When possible, daycare and boarding dogs will be taken indoors during your visit so that you and your pup can have uninterrupted time to play/work together in a quiet environment. This is not always feasible depending on the day/time of your visit and our schedule on any given day. Check in advance if your dog does not do well if they see/hear other dogs, people, or cars. The main SniffSpot is currently about 7,000 sq ft in our side field, which is perfect for running, playing fetch, working on recall and other obedience commands, and is full of smells to sniff out. Upon arriving at the Meadow Farm dog park, please pull in the drive to the house to park feel free to explore all around the yard and across the driveway into the grass fields in the backyard is a fully fenced small area. Also, there is a picnic table that can be used as well as a swing. You’ll notice that there is a pond in the backyard where your dog can play. On the property you’ll get to see some farm animals as well. Enjoy your time at the Meadow Farm dog park. In the pictures you'll see a few maps, these can be used as a guide to help show property boundaries as well as parking.

I was made aware of this app through a support group for reactive dogs. The area available is a large family owned farm. Horses are on the land but kept separated. The area for walks has 3 trails in the woods as well as a large playing field that is very far from any street or vehicle. I love the idea of allowing your dog to just be a dog. It is a great space for off leash training or off leash play. Keep in mind it is a wooded area so squirrels and birds are very common and occasionally there will be deer.

Nice fenced in backyard for furry friends to run around. Plenty of sticks and dog toys on hand at all times. Hose, sprinkler available if desired. Basic amenities provided as needed, our 3 lab mix dogs are social and friendly if you are looking for socialization and we are available, otherwise they will remain inside during visits.

Tucked away in Goochland County! Rural, quiet, and plenty of privacy! House is nestled on 4 acres (fenced-in area is a little over half an acre) of flat land. Large tree in backyard provides shade for the pups, along with a couple kiddie pools for the water lovers. Plenty of toys, tennis balls, and towels available. Rest assured, your pup will have plenty of room to sniff & explore ! Seating and umbrella available for the humans, as well as WiFi and reading material, so you can be cozy while your fur kid is romping!
