Additional rules Sweet River – Guest Rules & Guidelines Welcome to Sweet River, a private riverside retreat for pups and their humans. To keep the space safe, peaceful, and enjoyable year‑round, please review the guidelines below before your visit. 🐶 Dog & Owner Responsibilities Supervised Play: Owners must remain with their dogs at all times. Behavior Expectations: Any dog showing unsafe behavior must be removed immediately. Leash Policy: Dogs must be leashed upon arrival and departure. Off‑leash play is allowed within the designated area once you are inside the space. 🌊 River & Property Rules River Safety: The river is natural and unfenced. Please supervise your dog closely near the water. Not all dogs are comfortable with moving water—use your best judgment before allowing them to enter. Terrain Awareness: Sweet River includes rocky terrain, natural vegetation, and a small sandy patch. Please be mindful of your dog’s paws and activity level. Natural Debris: Burs, leaves, and seasonal ground cover may be present. We work continuously to manage them, but they are part of the natural environment. Please check your dog’s coat after play. Cleanliness: Please clean up after your pet. Waste bags are available in the basket. 🛎 Amenities & Extras Water Station: Fresh water is provided for dogs, along with a cool drink for their humans. (Spring and Summer only) 📅 Booking & Cancellation Policies Arrival & Departure: Please arrive and leave within your scheduled time to avoid overlap with other guests. Weather Considerations: If river conditions become unsafe due to rain, runoff, or high currents, you may reschedule at no additional cost. Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations so others have the opportunity to book.
