Description

**We are so excited for this fall season as well as going into winter!!!** Bring your pups for a private tranquil experience! Beautifully set within five fenced acres. Tucked away and surrounded by a peaceful year round running creek, several mature oak trees providing plenty of shade and toys for you and your pup to have a fun adventure together without the distraction of other animals or people. We provide several seating options, a paddle board, floaties, a cooler for drinks and food, toys, water (cold/hot/ice machine as well), water bowls, water shoes, doggie life jackets in varies sizes, doggie shampoo, natural bug sprays, doggie and hooman sunscreen, treats, a hose area to rinse off yourself and doggies, and a indoor bathroom. All is easy to locate with well places signs. We look forward to hosting you and your furry four leg babies! Pleasant Valley Creekside Ranch https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550228295246&mibextid=b06tZ0 *Just a couple things to note: There is not a “hiking trail” on our property. Our spot is meant for those who are looking to have a fun safe place to swim and play as well as those who want to enjoy some or all of the amenities we provide. Additionally our creek is not shared with any public access. The strip of land across the creek which is mainly covered in overgrowth of blackberries and trees is privately owned and fully fenced. No public access is granted there. Additionally although we are in rattlesnake season and it is always good to be aware of your surroundings no matter where you go, we have not encountered any snakes on our property. Our creek as well as many other play areas on our property is used safely daily by our 2 labs, frenchie, kitty, family, friends and Sniffspot reservations*

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Although this spot has a great space for doggies to swim, run and play as well as lots of amenities for both doggie parents and there pups…this spot also has areas that are lush with blackberries, uneven terrain and a creek. However most doggies do not venture to where the blackberries are. We also have a ramp that is helpful to enter the creek for those that need it. However this is why we say all doggies are welcome but we recommend it best for those that do well off leash with good recall. Additionally please be make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water

What a fantastic Sniff Spot!! Halo and Jake had so much fun running around and checking out the property! Jake waded in the stream even though it’s mid-November. The decorations are amazing - Halo was even barking at a witch, and she never gets scared! 🤣 There is so much to do here! We’ll be back!!

Host replied: Beautiful pictures! Thank you so much! We are so happy to see them having so much fun! ❤️

Was a great experience, the pups were in dog heaven. Only downside is we don’t live closer.

Host replied: Thank you Kristen! Great pictures too!

My dog had a blast jumping and playing in the creek. There were tons of balls and toys to choose from and we even got her on a paddle board for a brief moment. Thank you for a great morning.

What a wondrous and serene space! My dog loved swimming and playing fetch in the creek and we loved the bountiful amenities-comfy seating, hammock, bathroom, paddle board, floaties. The dog toys and life vest were appreciated. The host was gracious and gave clear directions. I rate this 10 stars out of 5.

Wow! Amazing! We had such a great time! Great instructions on how to get in, great signage, and a lot of amenities. The dogs and the humans had a great time! A large area to chase balls and run, lots of shade, the creek was peaceful and clean, toys provided for both dogs and adults, water dishes, chairs, a hammock, the property is well maintained and safe for the pups. I could go on and on! We arrived late due to a traffic accident and the host was very gracious in allowing us to stay later than our reservation. They also had a welcome board! We will be back often! It’s a great way to get out with your pup without the common issues that can arise at dog parks. Plus we saw a frog swimming in the creek! We can’t wait to come back and explore more!

Host replied: Thank you Shelley! We look forward to hosting you all again! ❤️

This place was fantastic, my dog and I had a blast! So many amenities—-tons of dog toys, kiddy pool, seating areas, water floats, and even a restroom with tons of supplies for clean up including towels and dog shampoo. The water was so clear and refreshing. My dog climbed on most of it, even getting on the paddle board! We spent most of the time in the water, but there was also a wide open flat area to kick the ball around. Very peaceful and shady spot. We will be back! Thank you to the host for opening up your little piece of paradise to us. If you’d like to see a video of our adventure, I posted a clip to my dogs TikTok account: charlie_goofy_gsd

Today my husband and I brought our three dogs and had the best time at the creek! Great communication from the host, easy check in/check out, tons of amenities and lots of thoughtful touches in this park! My dogs loved splashing around in the water, cruising on the paddle board with my hubby, running around and playing fetch with the toys available to us! Will definitely be back again!

Welcome! We’re happy to have you! We have a large open backyard with two levels. Up a wide set of three steps is a large grassy area with plenty of space for your pups to run and play. We have a covered patio area with a table and chairs you’re welcome to move around and make yourself comfortable. If you bring kids they’ll have fun playing in the playhouse and are welcome to whatever toys they find. The space is completely fenced in. We do have one fence board down near the entrance that we need to fix but it is currently blocked off and shouldn’t be a problem. Our backyard is family friendly so please excuse the mess if I don’t always get to cleaning it up. I have provided two water bowls, a small container of tennis balls and some dog bags. Please always clean up after them and feel free to leave the bags in the black trash bin on the front driveway on your way out! Entrance is through the side gate on the left of the house as you approach. There will be a metal pull cord and the gate swings in. When you enter you’ll see the hose in front of you. Help yourself to water for your dogs and let me know if you need water for yourselves or anything else and I will accommodate whatever I can! During your visit we will stay out of the backyard and have no pets that will interrupt your time so you don’t have to worry about being approached and can feel comfortable keeping your dogs off leash. Please note that if you book a morning slot you may find the far right corner of the grass to be a little muddy as the water seems to collect there. We’re working on a solution but just want you to be aware of that before you book. You may want to bring a towel just in case. We’re super excited to have you and would love to hear any suggestions you have for improving our space. We’ll do our best to implement as our time and budget allows. Please reach out with any questions or concerns! - Nicole ❤️
