There is a hose for water right outside the gate for dogs and humans (water is the same water that serves the house). Large trees offer shade. Visitors must stay in the designated field and may not open the gates to the goat pastures, access the house yards, or go into the woods beyond the property.

We have 2 reactive dogs so we understand the desire to have a safe space for them to run and play without triggers. The yard is surrounded by privacy fencing and trees/shrubs so there is very little for them to see, occasionally a dog might bark behind the privacy fence or children can be heard playing. We have squirrels, birds, rabbits but no other wildlife generally. Theyard is about 3500 to 4000 ft.² around the side of the yard is an area with a table and chairs also a small screened in porch that you are welcome to use with your pup! I will make sure that there is a dog bowl and bags for picking up poop available for you. Trash cans are right as soon as you park! If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog! My husband built a small rock trail to guide you into the main trail. Also, the patio and chairs are a great spot for people who are working from home.
