Our dogs loved Taylor Pond! We enjoyed walking around the pond and watching our dogs run around from one side of the pond to catch up to us on the other side. It was so fun, we can't wait to visit again! Thank you, Taylor Pond, for allowing us to bring our dogs. The day we visited was actually one of my dogs' birthday, and she had a great time. Beautiful property with clear directions on how to access the property and where to park our vehicle.
Taylor Pond is always an amazing experience for both; dogs AND people! The Sniffspot is very accommodating for anything that may be needed for anyone, especially if a dog loves swimming. They can be washed and dried off at a wash station that includes towels. This is my second time coming to Taylor Pond and I will absolutely be back in the future!
We took a peaceful stroll around the pond. Doggo had fun poking her head into the water and staring at the ducks. Its a great little respite close to (for us) home and a rare chance to let the pup experience a natural body of water that isn't the ocean :)
2 hours is not enough of what this place has to offer. This isn't just for dogs but for people to have fun too. They offer a variety of things to do, boat riding in the pond, zipline and a whole lot more. You'll see people in the area but all very friendly. We'll surely come back for another visit.
This spot was fantastic! Upon arrival, my Cane Corso, who thinks he's a lab jumped right into the lily pads for a nice splashdown. Then we did many laps around the pond area, stopping at times to look at the Ducks or of course do some sniffing. My pup loved it and we will definitely be back again!
Everything was simple and easy to check in. Host was very nice and accommodating. The dogs LOVED the lake. I hope to come back again. It was a great time and it certainly was a great birthday gift for my boy.
Great spot! So peaceful. There were other dogs on the property but they were fenced in a separate area. The pond is beautiful. We will definitely be back! To open the gate, push the button inside the pole.
Our pups & their buddy had the best time at Taylor’s Pond. The host is very hospitable and came out to say hi and see if there was anything we needed. Our pups enjoyed racing around the pond & wading into it! Just having the freedom for them to run & be free made us so happy! The only thing to watch out for is there are some buildings in the very back corner of the property with some construction materials lying around. One of our dogs insisted on being curious and trying to get into everything so I had to lead him out of there. The gate is on a timer so self closes once it has been opened. A couple of cars did come through the gates while we were there but the host gave us warning so we were able to hold onto our pups while we waited for the gate to close (I have one escape artist who no doubt would have made a mad dash for the exit if I had not held onto him)!
Great visit as always. If you’re planning on visiting for the first time please keep in mind there’s people on the grounds and the gates of the property are constantly being opened as well as vehicles going in and out. If your dog is an escape artist you might want to reconsider.
My dog loved it!
