The entire property is yours to enjoy during your visit, including the fenced meadow/arena and the areas around the front and back of the house. The property offers a nice mix of sunny open spaces and shaded areas. Most of the land is flat and easily accessible, with just a couple of steps and a small slope leading to the house and backyard. We understand how important it is for dogs to have a safe, private space where they can truly unwind. We won’t come outside during your visit unless we’ve communicated with you beforehand. Enjoy 1.3 acres of fenced pasture and natural area with many areas to explore. Your pup will climb over a giant felled tree, run around the seasonal pond, sniff all the smells left by elk, coyotes, and even bears that came by during the night. No pesticides or herbicides have been used in this area. The fence is 3 feet tall in the lowest area, but the area abuts a large grassy area and additional pastures.  The only domesticated animals your pup(s) might hear or see is my dog, who will be secured inside the house during your visit, and possibly the neighbor's dogs; they are over 100 feet away from the fence for the Sniffspot and separated by another pasture. This natural area is visited by wildlife. You may see bear, coyote, deer, and elk scat. Once you are in the fenced sniff spot, your pup should not be able to hear my dog anymore. Paved roads and paved parking make it easy to get to this sniff spot, but you will have to walk across the grass to the sniff spot; you will want to wear appropriate shoes.

My husband and I curated this space to allow others who may have reactive, nervous, or shy dogs or for anyone who just wants to hang out without being around other dogs or people at crowded dog parks. This space is reserved exclusively for you during your visit to spend time with your dog, train, work on recall, or just sniff around and relax. Located on a great residential street. Enjoy the long stretch of space to play fetch or try out the jumps or cones for agility practice. Enjoy the picnic table in the shade for those warm days or to stay more dry in case of rain while your dog sniffs around. Water available in the cooler for our furry friends.
