The whole property is beautiful! Melissa was so nice, the fence is super secure and we had zero worries about our dogs! Will definitely be back
This was perfect! Huge area with amazing views. It was quite and peaceful and our pup loved every minute of it! It was great for him to be able to really run around without us worrying about anything. Will definitely be coming back.
What a beautiful spot! Gorgeous views and a beautiful field to play and explore. My dog loved being able to explore on his own and LOVED cooling off in the water trough. Highly recommended, and thank you!
Nice open, hilly field for the pup! Lots of space to just run around and sniff. The grass is very tall so bring a bright ball or frisbee if you’re bringing your own supplies! We did see some at the entrance if you forgot to bring something. The property had such a nice breeze and great view from the top where we set up our camping chairs. Everything was secure around and we felt safe for our pup to just wonder! Great place to practice recall.
Such a great spot! Can’t wait to come back
What a lovely spot!!! The fenced area is massive and well-enclosed, and there are tennis balls and one of those plastic throwers there to use. We tried using them, but the dogs were in full “explore mode”. This was a great place to introduce our dog to our friends’ dog on neutral ground - it went really well!
Also, for the humans, there is a spectacular view if you just walk up to the highest point in the pen and turn to look back down the hill. There were (unsurprisingly) a TON of black flies at our almost-dusk visit time, btw, so if you’re going within the next couple of weeks, you may want to wear sleeves/something with a hood. (‘Tis the season for them, of course - just a heads-up for anyone not from the area! :)
We were warmly greeted by Melissa, who described the very large fenced area. We brought some of Finn's toys with us, but there was an ample supply if needed. The view of Mount Monadnock is spectacular from the field, so pick a clear day if possible. We did take the woods walk on the property that Melissa suggested, and chose to keep Finnegan leashed during that -- for all of our sanity. Our 90-minute visit was just perfect, as we had one very tired and sleepy whippet for our trip home.
I had a fabulous experience here. The space is huge and extremely securely fenced with water and tennis balls. I was fully confident that my two rambunctious pups would not be able to escape. One of my dogs is dog reactive and Mellisa was very understanding of this and ensured that the space would be fully private for my visit. Perfect spot for a picnic with beautiful views of Mount Monadnock. We will definitely be back!!
We had such a great time! Huge fenced area with lots to sniff, very secure and absolutely gorgeous
The host was very helpful and my dogs had a blast! There was a beautiful view of Monadnock and the fencing was very secure. I brought my four month old puppy and worked on some off leash commands and he and my older dog just enjoyed the huge space to run free in. We will definitely be back!
This big, fenced area with a lovely mountain view was a great place to romp and play for my two big dogs. Melissa was very kind to consider Sebastians fear of strangers and allowed us uninterrupted time to enjoy the freedoms of being off leash we brought some toys and treats and had a great time Thank you!!
Great, quiet space….and what a view!!!!
gorgeous property! melissa was very kind and welcoming of her home and the pups had a fantastic time! we will be coming back for sure!
Unfortunately couldn’t go due to weather but Melissa was so kind and we can’t wait to go back!
What a great place . These pups loved running around free in the fenced in area.
Owner greeted when we arrived made sure we knew the area , the trails and was able to answer all questions.
Very private beautiful setting to enjoy with you family and furbabies.
Can't wait to go back in the summer.
The fenced in area is very secure and clean. My dogs had a blast running around! Will definitely be returning!
Beautiful location with a lovely large securely fenced area. We didn’t explore the trails due to the snowfall but look forward to doing so in the future. Melissa was friendly and explained all we needed to know.
Fully fenced and wonderful! Our pups had a blast! The host was so kind and helpful!
Just as described. Melissa and her husband showed us around the farm animals and our puppy ran to her heart’s content in their fenced large area.
My dogs had a fun time playing in the field. The fencing was very secure, and I had no worries of my youngest troublemaker finding a way out. The host met us when we arrived and gave a quick rundown of everything we needed to know. My GPS didn't bring me to the correct address, but it was easy to find anyway.
This spot was easy to find and well fenced with no gaps. The view of the mountains was an added bonus! Melissa’s husband came out to meet us; he let us know where the gates were, that there was a water trough and a water bowl, and that there were plentiful tennis balls and several Chuck-It ball launchers. My dogs raced the perimeter of the spot, up and down the hill, and didn’t encounter any humans or animals. We will definitely be returning!
I drove out here from Salem Ma and it was well worth it. This farm is tucked away on a big hill with complete privacy and views. The field is a rough pasture which my hunter dog loved because he could search for field mice the whole time (he didn’t find any). I played fetch with my fetch dog on the hill and it was a great time. Then we finished off the visit with an on leash hike through the woods on the property. The host met us when we got there and had a bucket of balls, a chuck it and water. The other cool thing about this spot is that it’s kind of a destination - so afterward I went to Hometown diner for lunch and took the dogs on a hike on midstate trail on the way home. Very fun day and the dogs were exhausted at the end of it!
Amazing! This is by far the best Sniff Spot we have been to so far. I would call this a destination Sniff Spot. We live in the city and while we often go for hikes on the weekends, my pup doesn't always get the quality off leash time he needs. We drove 1.5 hours for a 2 hour slot at this spot. The fenced area is great, its very large and the fence was in perfect condition. There were toys and a full bucket of balls. There are trails to walk around but we just stayed in the fenced in field the whole time running hard and chasing balls. If all that wasn't enough, the view is an added bonus.
This spot is AMAZING!! Melissa and her husband were so nice and helpful - one of my dogs seemed a liiitle too eager to jump the fence so Melissa gave me a long leash to use which was super helpful. I think as long as your pup isn’t a major jumper/escape artist, the fence is actually very secure - I wasn’t worried about my other dog at all. The view is absolutely incredible, and there was so much space for the dogs to run around in with lots of smells and high grass to explore through. I didn’t end up using the trails this time around but plan to next time! To make this even more amazing, this place is a rescue for animals! They take in hospice animals and hard to adopt dogs, and are absolute angels for doing what they do. Booking a SniffSpot here supports their rescue! I can’t recommend it enough, and can’t wait to go back! 10/10.
Really beautiful farm, my dog loved it. It's a pretty ride from Boston, worth the trip. We will be back!
It doesn’t get any better than this!!! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the money you spend on this Sniffspot is a donation that will be used to help care for the rescue animals at the farm. The entrance to the large fenced in area (which is much much larger than it looks) is just a few steps from where you park. The fenced area is safe for big & small dogs (the low part of the cattle fencing is lined with wire so the little guys can’t sneak out). There are trails where you can walk your dog on leash as well, and the entrance to these is right next to the fenced area. We had planned on taking a walk thru the trails but our dogs were having too much fun in the field! They spent 2 full hours sniffing around, running, and playing fetch. We did see horses, but they were not close and they were in a separate field - far enough away that my 3 reactive dogs didn’t bark at all. The owner is kind, friendly, and caring. Even if you don’t live nearby, this place is 100% worth taking a little day trip with your pups to see!!! We will definitely be back for more sniffs in the near future :)
