In addition to a fully fenced run area (maybe 1.5-2 acre) and an easily accessible private trail loop. All proceeds through sniffspot go directly to the Sanctuary.

Quiet Fenced Yard with Brook Access – Peaceful Dog Retreat

Welcome to our quiet, creekside dog spot! This is a peaceful, private fenced yard located beside beautiful Otter Brook—perfect for dogs (and owners!) who enjoy nature and water. The fenced play area is approximately 5,000 sq ft and offers plenty of room for sniffing, exploring, and zoomies. Just outside the fence, you’ll find the brook, which guests are welcome to enjoy with leashed dogs. It’s a great spot for pups who love to splash! What’s included: * 4 ft tall fenced yard * Chairs and picnic table for relaxing * Fresh water bowls * Dog toys * Poop scooper * Off-street driveway parking Important fencing & access notes (please read): Our Sniffspot is designed to be a simple, affordable place for dogs to safely enjoy off-leash time in nature. The fencing is basic 4 ft welded wire fencing and works well for most dogs, but please keep the following in mind: * Not recommended for skilled jumpers or climbers. * Very small dogs may be able to squeeze through gaps near the bottom of the fence or around the gate. * The entrance gate is secured with a green bungee cord. Please fasten it exactly as you found it (or as shown on the posted instructions) to ensure the gate remains securely closed. * We strongly recommend doing a quick perimeter check upon arrival to make sure the space is a good fit for your dog. Accessibility: The fenced yard can be reached by either: * Stone steps (please note there is currently no handrail), or * A gradual grassy slope alongside the road, which many guests find to be an easier alternative. Environment: * Quiet, peaceful setting with very little foot traffic. * Located near a road, so occasional passing cars may be seen or heard. * A brook runs alongside the property outside the fenced area. * Wildlife such as birds, squirrels, wild turkeys, and deer are occasionally spotted. ⚠️ For safety, our tie-out line is not available for guest use.

JUNE 8th UPDATE: new six foot privacy fence installed to allow for full privacy. They told me to give the fence a few days to settle and then I will be reopened with more hours. Thank you for your patience. This fenced in back yard has plenty of space for dogs to run about. The driveway is long enough that you’ll have your own private and close spot right next to the gate. Peaceful and beautiful backyard. One neighbor is visible but rarely out. Sometimes their dog is outside and will bark but then they take him in. Fenced about five feet tall.

This space is designed for peaceful, one-on-one time for just you and your pup. Open 1/2 acre with no trees so plenty of space for your pups to run and do zoomies and get some great exercise. Secure area with 6’ high fencing. The area is not connected to our home so it gives you private time with your dogs. All visits must be booked at least 1 hour in advance through Sniffspot for each day and time-no drop-ins or recurring standing visits. My mastiffs will be in the house or in their fenced area off the house but may possibly see you and you may hear them barking or howling but they are just jealous you are out in their barnyard having fun 😊. This backyard oasis was built for my Golden Retriever, Cooper. He enjoyed romping around in the grass, climbing over the rocks, and most especially swimming in the pool! It makes my heart happy to share this with other pups and their humans. Safe and secure for pups of all shapes and sizes. Humans need to be careful on natural stone steps to the pool. The pool is 12' x 24' and the depth ranges from 3' to 6'. This is a three tired backyard. The entrance has a small patio, the pool deck then an expansive lawn area below. Plenty of room for running and playing! There is also a bathroom in the basement.

We feature a 6-foot solid wooden privacy fence enclosing a spacious, nearly quarter-acre grass yard—perfect for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs who need room to sprint without outside distractions. Human guests can relax comfortably under our shaded gazebo while dogs explore. We provide everything you need for a perfect visit, including fresh water, clean toys, and a fully stocked waste station (pooper scooper, bags, and dedicated trash bin). Come enjoy a completely private, safe playdate!" We would be honored to share our yard with you and your furry friend. We recently lost our Dog, Bailey Boots who loved to sunbathe and was an anxious reactive dog so this was her safe space. We hope this is the same for you and yours. Note: There are neighbor dogs who go out 2x a day for no longer than 10 min to the right side of our yard. We have 2 indoor cats but they can’t be seen if you are in the yard.
