Amazing Sniffspot as always! Easy to find, clean, fresh water, balls for fetch, goats! We were so excited to see a warm fire for pet parents this time too. Thank you!

What a Magical place 🐕we visit a lot of different Sniffspots and this one is definitely in top 3! I really wish we lived closer, but this spot was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. A Must Visit!😁❤️🐕

My dogs favorite Sniffspot! The St. Patrick’s Day decorations were adorable. The solar lights on the property and the headlamps provided were excellent as the sunset during our visit.
Host replied: 💚Awwww... Finley is all gussied up for ☘️St. Paddy's Day☘️ 🥰 You're right, Sunset visits are nice here. 🌄 Thanks Megan❣️🐾
This Sniffspot is so well kept. Daniel is constantly making updates to the fencing and putting fresh wood chips on the trails. The entire place is secure, clean and there is a ton of space for my dogs to run and sniff.
Host replied: 🥰Cute Pic!🥰 More updates & upgrades coming soon...I couldn't do it without YOU & all my loyal guests. Thank you Becky❣️🐾

This is the most amazing sniffspot we’ve been to! The amount of thought and care put into this space is truly unmatched. There was a fire ready to go for us on this chilly morning, treats and drinks for both us and our dog, toys, various seating areas, and more. We all loved every single second and especially loved meeting the goats. This place is a new favorite, we can’t wait to come back.
Host replied: 🥰Cute🥰 ☘️St. Paddy's Day☘️ pic of Sam❣️ Thanks Nora❣️🐾

Fully fenced acre backyard with a huge patio, chairs and table, a pavilion with couches, and lots of places for pups to play (and for humans to relax!). There is a big hill. All are welcome, and this is also a great spot for nervous or anxious dogs to feel safe and run free! Please note during winter (nov-april) the following things are not available due to snow and freezing temps: chairs, toys, water, bags and hoses ❄️ you’re welcome to bring your own chairs!
Welcome to Sully’s Sniffspot! We are excited to share our yard with you and your furry friends! When you arrive, come through the gate to the fully fenced (chain link, 4' tall) backyard where your dog(s) can run and play! There is a steep hill with cement stairs (no handrail) and lots of trees and plants to explore. There are dog balls scattered around the yard. I’ll leave out a water bowl and jug of water. There are dog bags in the plastic bin by the window for your use and a trash can by the gate. For the shy, fearful or reactive dogs: Our neighbors are occasionally outside. If your dog is human reactive, weekdays before 2:00 are typically the quietest time. Other dogs are not visible from the backyard, except for the occasional person walking their dog on the street. Our dog will be inside and not visible from the back yard when you’re here. Foster dogs: reach out if you have a foster dog and the cost is a barrier for you. For the humans: make yourself comfortable on the patio. Kids are welcome to play. Please send a message if you have questions or if I can do anything to make your visit more enjoyable.
Fully fenced backyard in prime location in south Minneapolis. Easy private entry. Lots of bushes, trees, nooks, and crannies for dogs to sniff and explore. Shaded spots as needed. Sprinkler available for use! Bunnies and other critters abound for chasing. Patio couch and table with chairs/umbrella available for your human. Both off-street (alley) and free street parking available. If we have enough advance notice, we will be sure to have water out for your pooch. Best for non-jumpers as the fence is low in spots.
Welcome from the Oak Ridge Standard Poodles and their humans! We invite you to stop by and visit! The yard is fully enclosed with a 6 foot bamboo privacy fence and there is plenty of room to run and play. You'll have full access to a yard level deck, two patios, and a fire pit. There are chairs and tables in various spots year round. When the weather allows, there are additional items including a sectional couch, dog cots, and hammocks as well as lawn games and a speaker/radio upon request. During your visit, you'll have access to a freshly filled gravity water bowl, dog treats, a few toys, towels, wipes, and more! There will be regular sized poop bags as well as larger plastic bags for any cleanup needs you may have. We also provide bottled water for the humans as well as sanitizer if needed. The resident dogs cannot see you from anywhere in the yard, even if your pups wander to the top of the stairs. You may hear neighborhood children at the nearby park. One of our next door neighbors has dogs that could be outside in their fenced yard and may see you upon arrival. However, once you are inside the sniff spot, those dogs will not be able to see you. Guest Wi-Fi: Network-sniffspot Password-sniffspot Parking/Security- We strongly prefer that you pull into the driveway and park on the left side close to the house/garage. Once parked, this area is not visible to our dogs from inside the home, which means they are less likely to bark hello greetings. 🐩 It also means the curious/friendly/inquisitive neighbors will not approach you. Gated access to the sniff spot is on the left side of our home just a few feet from the designated/recommended parking area. The gate is secured with a lock that is opened with a code. You may wish to unlock the gate first and then get your pup out of the vehicle. Security cameras monitor all outdoor spaces. We look forward to your visit and welcome any recommendations in order to make the Oak Ridge Sniff Spot your go-to destination! 🐩
Plenty of room to run with a stock tank pool for keeping cool in the summer.
Private and spacious for your dog or dogs to run around and play freely. Seating (along with table) provided for the owners. Water and toys also provided for the dogs. Peaceful, quiet, safe neighborhood. Parking is provided on the side of the house or anywhere along the cul da sac. Please don’t park on the driveway due to the fact that my family is constantly coming and going (I wouldn’t want to interrupt your time by having you move your car). No need to worry about walking far, looking for parking, or getting a ticket. Easy access to come and go.
The property is under 5 acres in a residential rural community. There is lots of unfenced yard as well as a mostly fenced pasture (electric fence is NOT on). Would work best for dogs that need to run or play that listen to their owner and are not likely to run off as the fencing was designed to keep livestock in the pasture, not dogs.
Update as of March 2024 - Unfortunately, due to new neighbors behind us, our yard isn't quite the reactive-dog sanctuary it used to be. We love reactive pups and are doing all we can to ensure you're pups are able to safely run and play. Our yard is long but narrow and we now have two dogs behind us that can be very vocal. They tend to be let outside in mid-afternoon and on weekends. Please keep this in mind. We can not force them to stay inside, of course, but will work with you to find a time for your reactive dog to visit when they're not outside. Early morning works best. Thanks for understanding! Ann ******* We are a rescue friendly home **specializing in training and advocating for dogs with behavior challenges. We know how hard it can be to find a quiet yard to train your reactive or fearful dog and we would love to help. Located in an Eagan culdesac, our fenced .34 acre backyard is well-maintained and provides room to run. Let us know if we can be of help! Ann & Adam Maves (and our resident pups) Feel free to use the screened-in porch while your pups play. We offer indoor and outdoor seating with television access (during the summer months). Wifi information provided upon request!
TEMPORARY UPDATE (3/3/24): we have temporary closed our schedule for some land maintainanence and upkeep. Check back and I will announce a re-opening! ** If you drop me a message I will provide you with a reopening discount too! 🐾❣️** Hi! 👋 welcome to our spot! Just want to disclaim that we are brand new to this and are trying to navigate what people want most out of a great Sniffspot ☺️ We are making improvements to our spot every day based on guest feedback and making plans for the future as well! We hope you’ll come check us out! Our land is partially wooded, with open spots to run. There is a short roundabout path but the woods you can walk through too (I take my dogs through the woods you just might want to wear tear-resistant clothes). We are working on creating more designated paths now that we’ve seen some interest! **Concerning the cleanliness percentage**: We have wildlife come through a LOT, coyotes especially, so there might randomly be bones and things to be aware of, and a fair share deer poop! We try to let the wild be wild because we love our wildlife and want a nice spot for them too. Otherwise there is lots of good sniffing and running to do. There is some burdock we are working on eliminating slowly (we do not use chemicals). No other real hazards you wouldn’t find on a normal wilderness hike. We do have some stuff by the house but not out on the actual land. **The property has a ‘fence’ so as you explore you can see where our property ends as you walk with no worry of going off our land, but it is not an appropriate fence for containing dogs that need it.**
