Hot Diggity Dog Retreat

**no trash can on site** Please take poop bags to tractor shed. There is a 5 gal bucket in the left bay of shed. We offer over 1 acre of fully fenced play yard and 10+ acres of UNFENCED trails, pond and woods. Enjoy a picnic on the bank of the pond or bring your fishing pole and catch a fish! Groups are welcome...so reserve a friend or two! We do limit cars to 2 per reservation or with advanced notice more are allowed. Also, speed limit on our long gravel drive is 10 MPH. We have a water spigot inside dog lot near steps. Please DO NOT use the water spigot in the open field near edge of driveway (handle will not cut off water supply!) No bowls provided due to sanitation so please bring a water bowl. Our property is over 0.2 miles from any public road. Enjoy the quiet country setting and have fun!

4Goats Farm

21 acres with a variety of terrain: Grassy, pine tree field; level open woods; or hilly with large boulders and rocks. Unfenced. On-leash recommended, but off-leash ok with good recall. (I can't guarantee that no wildlife will be present. Neighbor dogs occasionally wander) This is beautiful land. All natural, pesticide-free. Humans may come to the barn to feed chickens and pet goats.

Tucked away in the heart of Stanly County, this fully fenced backyard is a peaceful, pup-friendly haven where tails can wag freely and noses can explore to their heart’s content. Your pup will love roaming beneath the feathery shade of a blooming mimosa tree, chasing sunbeams or simply stretching out in the cool grass. Humans can relax on the deck, where there’s a table and chairs waiting for you to sit back and soak it all in. Need a drink break or cleanup? We’ve got water bowls available and easy hose access for cooling off or muddy paw rinses. There’s also a small cut flower garden you’re welcome to visit - feel free to snip a few blooms to brighten your day! 🌼 We do have two friendly resident dogs, but don’t worry, they’ll be inside during your visit to give your pup the run of the space.

Treat your pup to the ultimate off-leash adventure just minutes from Langtree Rd and exits 31–33. This fully fenced, spacious 1 acre sniffspot offers your dog the freedom to run, fetch, and explore. Feel free to use any of the provided dog toys including balls with a launch stick, frisbee, or toys. Or just simply relax in the hammock or the shaded table and chairs while your pets run around and explore within the fully fenced 1 acre area. Fresh water with hose, and convenient parking are all on-site. Come sniff, play, and stay awhile! PLEASE NOTE: Durning winter months Nov thru Feb, We shut Off the water faucet on the back side of property to avoid the pipe from freezing. We recommend bringing your own water for your pup(s). My apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you!

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. **Stick Library** -**NEW** we have expanded the field area to fence in the hill! Facebook video for property description! https://www.facebook.com/reel/857593750109937 This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
