The entire property is yours to enjoy during your visit, including the fenced meadow/arena and the areas around the front and back of the house. The property offers a nice mix of sunny open spaces and shaded areas. Most of the land is flat and easily accessible, with just a couple of steps and a small slope leading to the house and backyard. Enjoy well over 1.3 acres of fenced pastures and natural areas with many areas to explore. Your pup will climb over a giant felled tree, run around the seasonal pond, play catch with you, and sniff all the smells left by elk, coyotes, and even bears that came by during the night. Important: All dogs included in a booking need to be acquainted with one another beforehand, and first-time introductions between dogs aren’t permitted. No pesticides or herbicides have been used in this area. The fence is 3 feet tall in the lowest area, but the area abuts a large grassy area and additional pastures.  The only domesticated animals your pup(s) might hear or see are my dog, who will be secured inside the house during your visit, and possibly the neighbor's dogs; they are over 100 feet away from the fence for the Sniffspot and separated by another pasture. This natural area is visited by wildlife. You may see bear, coyote, deer, and elk scat. Once you are in the fenced sniff spot, your pup should not be able to hear my dog anymore. Paved roads and parking make it easy to get to this sniff spot, but you will have to walk across the grass to the sniff spot; you will want to wear appropriate shoes.

We have one Sniffspot pasture. The totally secure fully fenced Sniffspot pasture is on your left as you come up the driveway. Enter through the gate next to the American Flag. Be aware of the Alpaca in the separate fenced pasture above the Sniffspot pasture. There is also a hose at the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the building to rinse off your pup's paws if needed.
