55This was our first time at a sniff spot and we had a great time! We will definitely be back!
55Perfect for what my dog & I, needed, we invited his bff, pur joy sniffing then fishing in the pond then a little walk about pretty area, treats, a rest in the sunshine then more zoomies! this was a great experience for me because I kept my promise to my dog and fory dog because he really needed to burn some energy and have some fun, my good boy it's a natural place so bring your deet , the day I was there the dogs definably needed to be rinsed off & the hose available to us was a great gift, the pond is natural also and it did smell bad that day but thank you to my thoughtful host, she responded fast to my inquiries that part was very smooth I had some trouble with the app itself. Hope to bring my dog back again he wasn't distracted or nervous he just had a blast

55Loved this place. This was the perfect place to take my dog as it was close to home. Beautiful property and my dog absolutely loved swimming and running around the woods.
55The yard is a perfect combination of field and woods. My dogs enjoyed playing fetch as much as they did exploring the woods and taking a dip in the pond. The road is nearby but there wasn't much traffic on it (maybe 2 cars passed while we were there). We would definitely visit again!

Description

There is a pond that dogs are welcome to swim in. Has shallow entranceway, and deeper areas. Dogs love to fetch sticks and balls from the Pond. Also, there is a bridge from the edge of our property into the Wharton State Forest. There is a pretty wide trail.

There is usually a pile of branches right in the middle of the area that is our “burn pile” I don’t actually see how it could provide a hazard, but if your dogs are particularly curious, I suppose they could try to burrow under it and have branches fall on them. Has never been a problem, but wanted to mention it.

I love animals, so I live at the edge of the forest. There are 4 acres in a park-like setting with a pond. We have fostered dogs, babysat dogs, adopted dogs, and our friends and family are always welcome to bring their dogs when they visit. We would love to share our park-like setting with you. While our dogs will remain inside the fence, or even inside the house if they are too distracting, you’re welcome to enjoy the rest of the property and splash in the pond
