25Wasn't what I was expecting at all. The fencing is just barbed wire to keep the cows in. Dogs can easily get through. The river was nice but the pasture itself was unwalkable since the grass was knee high walking through. There was no indication at the site of where to park or where to go. Luckily someone else who wasn't involved with the sniffspot was familiar enough with the situation to guide us where to park and where the area was.
55Super lovely spot and our pup had an amazing time sniffing and tracking gophers. The host was very gracious when she broke into the cow pasture and proceeded to herd them all into a corner.😬
55Fun place to let your pup explore. Just know that the fence for the cows is pretty open for your dog to go right in the pasture. We just kept our pups on their leads by that area when we were going by. Also water is deep and fast right now (April) so if you have a water happy dog like we do you may want to be cautious. Cows were super friendly and we will return!
55awesome place with clear water big grassy field spotted by spring wild flowers. Cows and horses are friendly and curious dog loves their presence. Lovely place to let dog chill fetch bard sniff and be happy

55Very large open field. The river was a bit high and fast to enjoy but should be great in summer! A couple of the adorable cows walked up to say hi!
55So much fun!!! Plenty of space to walk around and sniff! The river was just serene. Bonus adorable cows!
55This is a great place to let your dogs roam if they have great recall.. I didn't realize the cattle were so accessible. We moved over to the meadow far from the cattle. My dog has severe noise phobia and someone started target practicing somewhere nearby, and she took off running the way we came (next to the cattle) Suddenly she remembered she is part cattle dog, and slipped under the fence and tried rounding everyone up.. i almost had a heart attack, but it took a minute to get her attention to come to me. I tried to find the owners to let them know what happened and apologize, but they were gone. Newby at Sniff spot, and now I know what questions to ask if livestock around.
55Nice big field to romp in! River to splash in is a plus! Dogs can get to cows if they don't recall well but plenty of field to play in away from the tempting bovines.

Corinne's Barkley Park, 1 Fully Fenced Private Dog Park on over 5 acres of quiet countryside in Lake Stevens

Enjoy our quiet rural setting on our 5+ acres with our fully fenced 1 acre play area for your dogs. Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres, just 3 miles from Old Town Lake Stevens. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run for safe exercise. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and safe exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, very safe exercise, just watch your footing. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. If interested in professional pet photography. Inquire with us for details. Portrait sessions are offered on our location. As well as European Organic Wild Antique Sourdough and artisan bread loaves. Organic Dog treats of the same recipe are available to purchase. Some weekends we have a bakery table of Organic European Sourdough loaves, baguettes, fresh scones, cookies, picnic lunch sandwiches, and of course pup treats. A message in as advanced and we can have yours ready. Just give us a heads up if you would like to indulge and custom order a lunch. You may often see myself, my husband and my mother enjoying the house yard, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our homes. An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. We live above a farm who takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. We also have 2 very large friendly cats. Please be careful with your dogs if you see an occasional cat. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Enjoy! I keep Barkley Park pictures and happenings on my Facebook page. Please follow us.🐾 Search fb - Corinne Alavekios

Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k

Cedarbrook Farms Dog Park with Agility Equipment

Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. These things can be scheduled through our website at: www.cedarbrookvet.com, or call or text us at 360-794-9255.
