Woodland Tranquility Pathways — find solitude!

Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors... ‘chatty hosts/property owners’😉). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat, a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.

You Can Borrow My Yard in Snohomish

Although we welcome dogs of all sizes, we believe our space is the perfect size for small to medium dogs. No other dogs will be in the yard or in sight during your time here. However, you may occasionally hear the English Bulldog that lives next door. We have an aquatic turtle in a small pond in the corner of the yard. We do have that area behind a little fence. We are happy to bring the turtle inside if you ask us before your visit. We have synthetic pet turf, which is more sanitary, and keeps your dog mud and dirt-free. It also eliminates most bugs, pests, and the need for pesticides or chemicals. Plus, the dogs love rolling and playing on it! We provide dog toys, puzzle games, a ball pit, tunnel, tether tug, two kiddie pools, agility equipment, a fresh-water station, and a dog waste station. (bags included) We have a strawberry patch that runs the length of the yard, up on a small retaining wall. Please know that it is OK for your dog to go up there, run through there, and pick the strawberries if there are any. We do not harvest the berries for ourselves, and all of the dogs seem to like exploring that area. Please feel free to park in the empty spot in the driveway, or on the street in front of the house. You may enter and exit through either of our gates on each side of the house. The gate on the left side of the house is wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions or concerns, please text me at (425) 249-6171. Located less than two minutes from Willis Tucker Park, you might want to make it an outing and take advantage of the park's amenities after your dog's private time here. The park has a children's play area, picnic spots, baseball fields, trails, open fields, and their own on and off-leash dog areas. We hope you enjoy our space, and we are happy to share it with you and your dog! Tanya

Had a great time with Ali and her pup at Zoomie Zone. This yard is huge, it’s like having a dog park all to yourself. The fencing is 6 ft everywhere and very secure. Soba had a great time sniffing around and playing with Ali’s pup. She was very tired on the way home.

Roméo and Juliette our Dalmatians had fun at this Sniffspot. A lot to snif, to run, to go up, down, under… We had forgotten our ball so Roméo was super happy to play with those provided. Thank you!

My favorite sniffspot. My dogs can run and run up and down the hills, playing ball and frisbee. No gaps in the fence, so I’m not worried when they’re out of my sight for a few minutes.

If you have a high energy dog this is the place for you. With all of the hills it is a great way to physically tire out your dog. Plus, there are lots of areas to explore which is great for mental enrichment.

After eyeing this spot for months and it always being booked I finally got to try it! Not as big as I thought it’d be but still a great huge hill to wear the dogs out! Will definitely be back.

This is the best spot we’ve been to and hope to come on a regular basis. Our GSP ran and ran and the hills almost wore him out 😋. The bonus is its only 2 miles from our house. Thank you for opening your wonderful spot.

Wonderful space, exactly as depicted in the listing. Large field with a few good hills to wear out any high energy dogs. The host gave good instructions on how to access the space and what to expect.

Wow, talk about the perfect Sniffspot! If your dog plays fetch, the rolling hills will certainly give them a workout. A Chuckit launcher was available and I was definitely grateful for that. I didn't bring one and you just have to take advantage of the wide open space and throw that ball nice and long! I thought twice about keeping our visit because it was a bit drizzly today, but I'm so glad we ended up going. At this time of year, muddiness is an issue at some Sniffspots, but definitely not at Bearlani!

This is the biggest fully fenced spot we've been to yet! Directions on how to access the space were clear. There's lots to do here: a large, open, hilly area to run around in and clumps of trees to explore.

This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed our time. The signage showing you at the correct location and directing you to the field were great. Lots of room to run and play fetch with some patches of woods to explore is the perfect outing for a busy border collie!

All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Snohomish area are 5 stars.
