*Please Note: There are some gaps along the chain link fence; if your dog is prone to escaping, we recommend close supervision. Additionally, guests from the nearby campground may walk their dogs along the rear of the property, particularly in the evening. This may be a consideration if your dog is reactive. Our property offers a beautiful view of the lake behind the home. While the lake is not part of the property, it can be enjoyed from the yard. The back porch features a covered patio, providing a comfortable shaded area to relax and enjoy the space.

Property Notes & Safety Information: Our country property includes uneven ground(s) and wood piles, so please be mindful while walking and playing. In the far back left corner, there is a flatbed trailer covered with a tarp. For safety reasons, please do not allow dogs or children to climb or play on or around the trailer. We also have two concrete septic tank covers located in the yard. (Seen in photos). While they are secure, we ask that guests remain aware of their surroundings. Occasionally, you may notice a mole hole(s) —we fill these as soon as we discover them, but they can appear from time to time. During the growing season, our mulberry tree will be in full bloom, adding to the natural charm of the property. We also have a fire pit, do not allow children or dogs to play in it. You are more than welcome to grab a stick out of it for your pet if we haven't burned any of them yet. Please do not allow children or pets to play on or around the a/c unit or grille.

Location & Yard Guidelines: We live about 7-9 miles off I70 (Springfield area) Please enter the driveway and park in the gravel parking space on the left side. When entering or leaving the gated yard, please leash or carry your dog. We live on a busy country road, and your dog’s safety is very important to us. Close the gate behind you after entering, use D-clip to secure it with chain. Feel free to relax on the patio or enjoy playtime in the yard with your dog(s). For your convenience, we have poop bags, dog toys, a spigot with a dog bowl, and hand sanitizer available. You may relax on the porch swing by unfolding the cushions, or feel free to open and use the collapsible chair if it is not already set up. Just put things back where you found them. :) Please dispose of used poop bags in the trash can in front of our garage before leaving. Before you go, we kindly ask that you tidy up and leave the space again as you found it. Please rinse out the dog bowl and place it upside down on the concrete to dry so it can be washed and ready for the next guest. Be sure to lock the gate using the D-ring on the chain when you leave. Thank you! We hope you and your dog(s) enjoyed your playtime! 🐾 Please Note: Three people are allowed per one dog (children are not included in this count). Any additional adults are $5.00 each—please include payment at checkout.

We are passionate dog and animal lovers, and we’ve always rescued our dogs over the years. Our yard has been home to many beloved pups, along with lambs raised for 4-H projects. The peaceful lake setting adds to the charm, creating a calm and welcoming environment. You can even hear cattle grazing nearby, adding a touch of country life just across the way. If we can continue to share our yard with other animals and help bring them happiness, that is truly our goal.
