55My pups had a great time. We enjoyed seeing the farm animals which provided a good distraction for my pups and we enjoyed watching the goats adjacent to the spot. Its a nice spot to practice recall and leave it. Being able to park your car close at the entrance in view is a plus. The clean bowls and fresh water were appreciated.
55This was our first sniff spot and it was great! Plenty of space for my frenchie to run her little heart out. She enjoyed looking at the goats. The space was clean, plenty of water and toys to play with. Perfect size for any dog with lots of smells! It was easy to find and the owner was so nice! He said hello then let us enjoy our time. We definitely will be back. Thank you!
55Highly recommend
55Can’t wait to come back this will be our new safe spot ☺️🐶
55This is a great Sniffspot! Great area to play with lots of provided toys. It’s a beautiful area. Definitely recommend
55Amazing sniff spot, plenty of room for the dogs to play, very clean, secure, other animals are in eye sight but they are either far enough away or secured as well that our dogs didn't even realize they were around. 100% would recommend and will be back plenty of times ourself!
55This was our first visit and the dogs loved it. The wire fence gave them a view of the sheep in a field behind the yard, that doesn’t abut with this property, and our kiddos were curious!! It rained pretty hard during our visit so my husband and I really appreciated the covered area. The yard was clean of poop. The fresh water bowls and toys are a nice bonus! We will definitely be back.
55So much fun our dog had a blast!
55Lucy had fun as always!
55Always a wonderful time!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available at the top driveway as you exit under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
