55We really enjoyed our visit here! The pool is huge and clean. The yard is also spacious and my dog had a great time exploring. Thank you!
55Another great swim!
45This is our 2nd visit and unfortunately less enjoyable than the 1st. We ended up cutting our time short due to their dog obsessively barking at the back door. I didn’t mind the constant barking until my dog noticed. I have a reactive dog as well and why I opt for SniffSpot. This is a top priced sniffspot which grounds my expectation. Having a reactive dog myself, I am very understanding. I would have hoped the family to provide attention or distraction to settle their own out of visible sight.
55Wonderful Sniffspot. Huge yard, secure fencing, lots of toys and a pool. We had a great time!
45It was a really great place and the host was very communicative!! It was great to give our pups a chance to see how they would do in the pool. They both seemed to like it and kept trying it out. Lots of room to run and our pups loved the chickens. My only concern was the gate we went in didn’t latch and opened out - our dogs could have easily pushed it open which left us a bit on edge the whole visit. We were able to somewhat block it with one of their trash cans to deter the dogs. This could of been us not understanding how to lock-close-use the gate. Very kind host and would stop by again!
55My dog had the best time, both in the pool and outside. Nice clean pool. Lots of toys. The host was super nice and set out clean dog water. There is a trash can for poop bags! We loved our visit and hope to be back!
55This is a perfect yard and pool! We had a great time teaching Beau to swim on a beautiful day.
55Great spot especially on these last hot days! Love that the host provided life eats and a ton of fun toys!
55This was a fantastic spot for pups to play. Day of, we received communication on how to get in. And when we arrived, it was just as directed. There was plenty of space for the two pups we brought, but definitely large enough for way more than that. There were toys, plenty of running space, and covered space since we got a bit of rain during our time here. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed the pool, mine especially. We would definitely come back here, hopefully with more pups seeing how much fun they had.
55Such an amazing place for pups and their owners! It is clean and has all the things to make for a great time with your doggo! So thankful for spots as well maintained as this one, Gunner is a huge fan!!!

Host replied: Thanks for your review! The gate should latch very easily and has not been an issue for other guests.

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available at the top driveway as you exit under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
