Description

Allow your furry friends to experience history at our beautiful half-acre sanctuary! You will be surrounded by a variety of trees, foliage, and flowers (as of June 7th- our Tulip Trees are starting to bloom! They are yellow/orange blooms at the tops of the trees). Our spot features full paddock fencing secured by vinyl livestock so you can be confident that your dog will be safe while getting their energy out. As for you, enjoy being in the company of our barn circa 1840, which was featured in a local Western film in the 1970s. We have outdoor furniture for you to take it all in as you immerse yourself in the wonders of Silverton Road’s most charming home! We have a deck box which holds our cushions for you to access in the event I am unable to set them out. If you’re lucky, you may just see some of our neighborhood’s beloved deer or chickens grazing in the field behind our property. When you’re done enjoying our property, be sure to visit Silverton Farms right down the road for fresh organic produce, eggs, honey and flowers. We hope you enjoy our property as much as our dogs Blu and Auggie do! Please note- we are a heavily wooded yard and as such, be sure to check you and your pups for ticks!

If your dog is a skillful digger or gets triggered by the potential sighting of our beloved neighborhood deer and chickens in the field behind us, this may not be the best spot for them. Please note: with lots of wooded land comes lots of pesky ticks. Please check yourself and your pets thoroughly upon leaving!
