Welcome to The Back Meadow, a spacious, fully fenced private backyard where your dog can run, sniff, explore, swim, and just enjoy being a dog. The property features a large open lawn with plenty of room for full-speed zoomies, a swimming pool for dogs who love the water, and multiple comfortable seating areas where you can relax while they play. Whether your dog needs space away from a busy public dog park, loves a good game of fetch, or just wants somewhere new to explore at their own pace, you’re welcome here. The yard is surrounded by mature landscaping and trees, with a mix of sunny and shaded areas throughout the day and beautiful views of the sky and sunset. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor seating, and complimentary cold bottled water is available in the outdoor refrigerator. Your reservation is private. We want you and your dog to feel comfortable enjoying the space together without having to share it with unfamiliar dogs. Please make yourself at home, let your dog stretch their legs, and enjoy some quiet time together at The Back Meadow.

This small space is perfect to let your dog run , play, or relax in the sun or shade without the worry of escaping. The .25 acre lot is fully fenced, 4 foot on the lowest side and 6 foot on the highest side. This yard space is the backyard of a house, so be mindful that this is other doggies home as well as your play area! There are other dogs & cats in the neighborhood that roam, so be watch for them as you load and unload your dogs for their playtime. There is a gate on both sides of the house, one accessible from the driveway and the other is on the far left side of the house. For parking, if there is room you can park in the driveway, otherwise you can park on the road in front of the house. 😊

Crouching Hippo Farm - Dog Park

A large enclosed area on an organic vegetable farm. I built this fire my dogs but am happy to share. Your dog can have the run of the place or I can add one or two of my friendly hounds to play with. Stay for a few minutes or a few days.

Please bare with me as I add more amenities and other additions to the area. Just a short drive away from downtown Mooresville, here is a dedicated fenced in spot of land to let your dog or dogs come get some energy out. Throughout the day, the trees around the area do provide some shade within the fence. Your pups are free to dig, I just ask that the holes created be filled back in before you leave. There is a dedicated parking area right in front of the access gate, after you turn into the gravel driveway (marked by red reflectors).

Private Agility & Sniff Field – Huntersville

New professional competition sized agility equipment (rubber and padded)+ scent work enrichment. Teeter (12 ft) Dog walk (36 ft) 12 weave poles with 2x2s Jumps Tunnel with sand bags Enrichment scent course and AKC scent work boxes with Birch, Anise, Clove and Cypress. One reservation at a time. Great for agility practice, confidence building, scent games, and sport training. Cool shaded tree canopy and lower level covered patio with chairs.

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. **Stick Library** -**NEW** we have expanded the field area to fence in the hill!
