I cannot say enough great things about Columbia Gateway! Our puppy, Rambo, truly thrives at the Sniff Spot. The fully fenced grassy oasis is perfect for him to run freely and burn so much energy. He especially loved the sprinkler setup! I recommend this spot for all doggies! đ¶
Loved the open field and easy access to get into the yard. The dogs loved sniffing around and getting some running in. Loved our time there, plenty of shade, picnic table and room for the dogs to run. Also love 30 mins is an option during busy work days! Canât wait to go back!
Thank you for having us today, we love your huge yard, definitely coming back đ©·đ©”
Host replied: I am so glad you enjoyed it! Your dogs are beautiful! I will be planting flowers in the "dirt" area in front of the house so just for future visits I hope to encourage doggos to avoid that area. Eventually we may be able to put in some fencing :-) thanks for coming Natalya!
Good space
We had an excellent time enjoying this beautiful, clean, peaceful and large-sized Sniffspot! We were celebrating our dog Roxy's 5 year Gotcha Day! She played, ran, and sniffed everything! We all had so much fun and will definitely be back soon! Hopefully next time with some dog friends to play with!
Host replied: Hey Kelli! If we are home at the time, our dog Sasha would love to play!
Great place! Will definitely be back again!
Lovely spot! We left a little early cause there was a very cute cat that came out to say hi, so just be aware that there is a cat around if you have a dog that likes to chase cats. Mine wonât chase unless cats run, and I didnât want to chance it even though the kitten seemed pretty confident around dogs!
Host replied: Thank you for being so mindful! Yes the cats are used to dogs and they have an escape plan if chased but we really don't want anyone to let their dog(s) chase on purpose. The property is two acres and besides our three cats, the neighborhood cats wander around as well. We can't do anything to control it
Amazing place . Secured . Great for our 3 fur babies
Beautiful spot with lots of space. We really appreciated the toys and water access.
Host replied: Just for future guests, this was the private message: "We do have a very reactive dog, so our only hiccup was the adjoining fence to the property with two little dogs who wanted to check us out. If you have a dog that has trouble with impulse control this might pose a problem. Otherwise, we had a great time and appreciate you letting us use your beautiful space!" From me the host, my neighbor to the west (near the house) has two Pomeranians. They are sometimes near the fence on the WEST side of the property, the acre of property not specifically dedicated to the SS. While I don't mind if dogs wander around, all 2 acres are not intended for dog playspace. For example, when the gardens are in bloom... and If someone has extremely reactive dogs, the neighbors dogs may definitely provoke, but the chainlink blocks contact. Completely. Hope this helps people decide if our SS is a good fit. For training purposes, it could be a good thing to have neighboring dogs in view, but the guest will have to decide what works for them :-)
Great place to let your dog sniff around and play :)
