55The indoor space is huge with lots of room for our reactive dog to run around. Beautiful area too.
55Cynthia’s place is absolutely beautiful and she is such a kind and gracious host. I was running late for the hour I booked and she so kindly encouraged me to stay for the full hour, since no one was booked after me. The river walk was amazing and the pups are totally worn out after running around in the indoor space!
55Went with my friend and it was the best way for my reactive dog to play with her best friend without worry of other dogs on trails and the barn gave us the space and safety to allow them to run free with no worries it was the best play the two have ever had
55Dogs had a blast in the indoor space and along the river. Great training opportunities with horse exposure, too. We’ll definitely be back!
55I didn’t bring the proper footwear. The fields are muddy right now, but that was OK because we could hang out in the indoor arena, which my dogs love doing, running up and down, mainly because my one dog is not off-leash trained, so he does not get to enjoy running around outside, but the indoor arena gives that freedom to him
55Loved this spot!! I have genuinely never seen my dog run as fast as he did in the indoor horse training arena here. He’s a fairly reactive rescue, so having a space for him to really run and get his energy out is a life changer! And the property is absolutely beautiful.
55What a perfect spot lots of fields to roam around in love the river, and when the wind started picking up, it was nice to go inside the indoor arena. We will definitely be back.
55Great spot!
55We loved this spot! The indoor for off-leash running was the best but the river walk was also great. We will be back for sure!
55Beautiful land! easy instructions and a our dog loved it. even being on leash outside we got to walk around close to the river which was a beautiful view. My dog loved seeing the horses and the indoor barn. The indoor barn where one can be off leash was one of the best experiences and I felt she loved all the smells and ample amount of space.

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
