It is very uncommon to see Alligators in the river where we are at but not impossible, and if you're lucky, on a rare occasion you might catch sight of river otter! Huge, fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and potty. I have dogs myself but they will always be inside so you may hear them barking but that is it. I have no neighbors to the right or behind my yard so its almost 100% private. The grass is cut every other Friday, so depending on the week you visit, grass may be a bit longer.

Oak & Pond 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Yard in Parrish

** Closed July 14th for lawn maintenance ** This 5 acre private, fully fenced Sniffspot offers a peaceful and secure environment with plenty of room to run, sniff, play in the pond and explore. The property is quiet and private. It is fully fenced & very secure which is perfect for reactive, anxious, or escape-prone dogs. We have a GSP who is an escape artist, and we've made sure it's safe for her. There are tons of oak trees + natural shade which makes the property cooler and more comfortable with the Florida Sun. Our dogs love the property so much we wanted to share it with others. There is a pond on the property where dogs can swim and enjoy the natural setting. There is a fountain and fish in the pond (primarily small Blue Gill and Catfish). However, we don't allow fishing for the safety of the pets (hooks, etc.). We have never seen any gators on the property although it is always a possibility. Great for multi-dog families. There is enough room for everyone to run free! The property is set back a little from the road. It feels very peaceful. Indoor restroom access available. Pool/lanai use available as an extra. Out of respect for our neighbors and for the property, we have decided to only host dog visits or dog birthday parties with 5 humans or less in attendance. If you are bringing more than one vehicle please let us know. We want the property to be more of a peaceful, low key place to visit. 💧 Amenities * Two hoses for bathing. * Shampoo, water bowls and some toys provided. I hope you enjoy the property as much as we do! **************************************** Other Info: The yard is treated regularly for fire ants by a professional fire ant company. It is rare to find fire ants on the property. Depending on the time of year, the water level and number of Lilly pads (and other vegetation) in the pond changes. The pond water is lowest December-February. A pond filtration system was installed in Feb 2026. The filtration system helps kill harmful bacteria/algae and keeps the pond healthier. Algae blooms are still possible in any pond. We monitor the pond closely for the safety of our pets and yours. Water is tested monthly.

You can use the pool or we can put up the safety fence. Additionally we have a small kiddie pool for dogs that like to splash around or just prefer drinking from a giant water bowl.
