Description

It’s named in memory of our dog Max, who passed away from cancer. He loved this area so much. So, we decided to share with other dogs, who don’t have the luxury of running and sniffing and being a dog. Big pond in the back is drained do to a sand vain.

We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Our property is a mix of 2 open pastures, and trails through the woods. There is a smaller totally fenced in area (former goat enclosure) that’s great for working on recall and scent work. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.
