Hi! We are a small horse farm dedicated to education and equine retirement. We have a fenced-in dog yard adjacent to the house with a nice view of the horse pastures and surrounding farms. After some playtime in the yard, feel free to take a leash walk down our quiet dirt road at no extra charge.

Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We respect and understand how important it is to interact with your dog in a protected safe area with out worry of having a stressful issue with your dog and another dog or person. We live on a private road and the traffic is limited. All dogs that visit our yard appear to go home happy and content and always run straight for the yard when they come back!

These camps are cherished family properties, and due to shoreline regulations, a camp lost to fire likely could not be rebuilt in its current location. • The chairs have not yet been put out for the season, so please bring your own seating if desired. • Water service will be turned on shortly. • Please remember to carry out all dog waste if metal trash can not present. Do not put in our general trash. If your pup poops well into the woods you can leave it :) ⸻ Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true “Sniffari” experience along the way. At the end, you’ll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a perfect spot for your dog to splash, swim, and play. Prefer not to walk? You’re welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. This property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. Please note: • The access road is sand and gravel. Sturdy footwear is recommended if walking. • Recent rain can create some ruts, and the road is due for grading. • SUVs and trucks are recommended for driving down the hill. • Sedans can typically make it down as well (ours does!), but please use your best judgment based on road conditions. • Balch Lake is a shared lake, and you may see boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and dogs accompanying boaters on the water. • Sound can carry across the lake, making people or dogs seem closer than they actually are. • As with any unfenced property, please ensure your dog has reliable recall or keep them leashed based on your comfort level and your dog’s abilities. These yards are natural, doggy daycare yards with uneven ground kept free from waste and safe for pups to play. They are not available during business hours and are not lit for nighttime use.

Welcome to Canine Connection! We are a fully indoor space to rent. We provide approx. 4000 sq. ft. play area with toys and complimentary coffee/water and tea for guests. We have basic agility equipment, sanitary stations in case of accidents, and pet first aid kits readily available. We hope your pups and you enjoy playing in our space!
