Nestled directly alongside quiet nature preserves, our property offers incredible privacy and a peaceful escape from suburban distractions. This is not a manicured suburban backyard. Instead, you will find a beautiful, rustic slice of natural country fields featuring tall seasonal grasses, thick brush, and mature trees. It is the ultimate environment for off-leash scent work, long-line recall training, gun dog or sporting breed fundamentals, or just letting a high-energy pup sprint across massive distances without the stress of a public park. To make your visit comfortable, we maintain a wide, freshly mowed walking path that loops entirely through the 5 acres, giving handlers a clean trail to walk while their dogs explore the cover alongside them. The Layout & Safety Details Acreage: 5 full acres of natural, rustic field. Fencing: UNFENCED. This spot is wide open. It is ideal for working breeds, dogs with highly reliable recall, or handlers utilizing training lines. Terrain: Natural, unmowed country field with a mowed walking loop. Please wear sturdy outdoor footwear! Because it is a natural area, we highly recommend up-to-date tick prevention for your pups. Privacy & Homestead Disclosures Total Isolation During Bookings: Your reservation is 100% private. We promise that the 5-acre field will be entirely free of other people and animals for the duration of your visit. Arrival Visibility: Because this is an active homestead, there is a chance you may briefly see us outside taking care of property chores when you first pull into the driveway. However, we will head inside or stay completely clear of the field once you arrive so you can enjoy total privacy. Acoustics: While we have no close or visible neighbors, sound can carry in the country, and you may occasionally hear a neighborhood dog barking in the far distance. Our Animals: For the complete safety and focus of your dogs, our poultry flock is kept completely secure and locked away in their enclosed run during all active bookings. Amenities Provided Dedicated, off-street parking spot right near the field entrance. A clean human seating area near the entrance. Dedicated waste station (trash can + complimentary poop bags). Fresh, clean water station and a dog bowl. Host Rules Please clean up after your pup using the provided waste station. Keep your dog secured until you are in the trail. We have chickens who spend there time around the chicken coop in the front by our home which is not visible from the trail. The neighbors home at the top of the hill is visible a bit. They are friendly and rarely home, if you dog wanders over just bring them back into yard as soon as you can Enjoy the ultimate peace and quiet!

My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires, Agility jump poles, and an A Frame ladder). (Please early notice) The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs (and kids!)

We have a fully fenced in yard in the Village Oaks subdivision! Come bring your dogs to have some fun while your kids are at school or have them all come play after school. For pups, we have lots of grassy area to run and play. They’re welcome to hop on our kids’ play set and ride down the slide, as our beloved dog did. We also added a trampoline this summer and a ninja warrior set for kids (and adults!) to play on. Two big trees provide plenty of shade for you and your pup. We pride ourselves on having a backyard enjoyable for both dogs and families to enjoy! 🩷🐾
