In the summer there is grass and gravel to play on. In the winter there is snow and we snow blow routes for our dogs to get around. There is currently a pile of mulch to play on also. There is a driveway or road parking available. We have two dogs who use our yard but they will stay inside while you visit. We do our best to pick up all the poop but please be aware there may be some around we have missed.

There is ample parking and a turn around so you do not need to back out onto a busy road. There are trash bins for poop bags, a water faucet on the outside of the house and a green crock for a water bowl. I try to have a chair or two available as well. There is shade in the morning but it is full sun in the afternoon. It is also a very breezy location because we are so close to Georgian Bay. Pls be thoughtful when you leave a review. This is not some big money making business. We offer our property to support dog families who need a safe space for activity. When we get negative reviews because someone is “too hot” or “it rained” it makes us question what we are doing and why. It is a lot of work to maintain this space. We really do hope you enjoy.

There is a patio and deck area where you and your dogs can hang out. PLEASE FLICK FAR or PICK UP YOUR DOG'S EXCREMENT while roaming on the groomed trails. There is a green bin to drop it in on your way off the property. No one likes "stepping in it." The trails aren't fenced in, but they extend behind and/or beside the house and are situated away from the road.

We live on 57 acres with trails made throughout but will continue to make more in the spring. We want others and their dogs to be able to enjoy private trail walks as much as we do :) We have about 3.5km of trails through the forest and are continuing to work on them. We keep the trailed groomed almost daily in the winter to make walking easier. PARKING: please park in the round about and go around the left side of the house to the trail. Winter parking: Please park your vehicle on the corner of the paved driveway LEASHES: Please leash your dogs until you are on the trail and when returning to the parking lot if they don’t have reliable recall. DOG POOP: Please use a stick to flick your dog’s poop out of sight and off the trail or put in a doggy bag. There is a compost bin you are welcome to throw your compostable doggy bags in there. RESPECT NATURE: No smoking or littering. Please keep our Sniffspot beautiful and safe from potential fire. The entrance to the trail is at the back left of the property.
