HOST REPORTS

Sometimes

β€œMy dogs are kept inside so you won't see them but you may briefly hear them when someone enters/exits our front door. On RARE occasions our neighbor’s dog has wandered near the Sniffspot. The area is fully fenced and secure so he cannot enter on his own. He is young, extremely friendly, and docile; some guests have even chosen to let him play with their dogs. Again his visits are very uncommon ( only 3 guest interactions out of more than 1300+ visits ), and if it does occur during your visit his collar includes our neighbor’s contact information so they can be reached directly. They respond quickly and will promptly come to retrieve him.”

Description

Reviews with photo's may be posted onto our Instagram! @furryfellowsniffspot πŸ“Έ We're a great option if you want a peaceful and private place to relax at. There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the field regularly in the spring/summer to keep the grass short. What we offer: βœ… Large fully fenced field. βœ… Dedicated guest parking area for easy parking and multiple cars (can fit 2-3 cars depending on vehicles sizes). βœ… Private entrance straight to the sniffspot. βœ… Open barn for shade and shelter from rain and wind. βœ… Picnic tables that can seat 12 with 3 extra chairs. βœ… Waste bags, large πŸ’© scooper and multiple trash stations for easy clean up and disposal. βœ… 5 gallon distilled bottled water jug for dogs and water bottles for humans.(Water is not available during freezing conditions). βœ… Regularly maintained field in spring/summer βœ… Frisbee golf basket and discs, picnic blanket, kids playhouse and other outdoor games available in the summer 🌞 βœ… Quick πŸ’© pickups! we appreciate when guests let us know if they see any poo piles so we can take care of them as quickly as possible :) 🐾 On RARE occasions our neighbor’s new puppy has wandered near the Sniffspot. The area is fully fenced and secure so he cannot enter on his own. He is young, extremely friendly, and very docile; some guests have even chosen to let him in to play with their dogs. Again his visits are very uncommon (only 3 guest interactions out of 1,300+ visits), and if it does occur during your visit his collar includes our neighbor’s contact information so they can be reached directly. If you have questions or concerns feel free to send us a message :) Frequently asked questions Q: What are the berries the tree's drop in the sniffspot? A: Hawthorn berries! Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. *EDITS* 5/28/2024* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticeable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/2024* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/2024* Gate lock has been fixed. 6/30/2025 2 more doggy waste stations have been ordered to add to the park. 7/20/2025 Doggy waste stations have been installed and active wasps nest have also been taken care of. A water jug station will also be added to have more water jugs available for guests to replace with fresh ones once emptied. 10/15/2025 Mulch has been ordered, we plan on slowly topping up mulched area's as needed throughout the fall and winter months. 4/6/2025 Picnic tables have been ordered to acco large groups, we plan to have them setup by 4/17. We've also added the birthday pawty extra for larger get togethers with dogs.

Hazards

HOST NOTE

Due to wildlife and the weather there may be fallen branches, uneven ground and blackberry bushes. There is also an old tractor in the open barn. Weather conditions can make some area's slick so sturdy footwear is recommended, please walk and drive carefully! We are located in the forest so there are bee's and other such insects, we recommend you bring repellent especially so during spring/summer seasons.

Hi! We’re a family of four with two small kids, a sweet Dogo Argentino and a spicy senior Chihuahua–Dachshund mix. Both of our dogs are extremely reactive so we understand how difficult it is to take reactive dogs to public spaces. It brings us great joy to be able to provide an affordable place that’s safe, clean, and stress-free where you and your dog/dogs can relax and play with confidence. We absolutely love seeing your pups having fun! 🐢 Please tag & follow us on Instagram @furryfellowsniffspot Reviews with photos may also be featured! πŸ“Έ Your visits help support our small family, we’re so grateful for your kindness, feedback, and word of mouth. Thank you for helping us grow this dog-loving community! 🫢

Hi yall, We hope you’ll enjoy our back yard as much as our dogs do. My wife and I run and manage our spot. Our area here is in a small neighborhood with little to no traffic. You can access the entrance through the left side of the house. Just push the gate and it should open easily. As for parking there is a guest area right in front of the house but the drive way can be used to park if there is no parking available. There will be a smaller little fence that can be closed but you can leave it open as well. We will provide some toys and of course balls so you can play with your dogs free of charge. We additionally have snacks and water if needed. There are poop bags as well. You can find these items on the deck and please feel free to sit down and enjoy a nice seat. Our back yard will have trees with plenty of shade and a large area for the dogs to run around. Some areas of the yard are muddy but it is mostly grassy. If you head down to the property you will find a stream with a sandy beach and an old bench. The stream is only accessible through our property but not fully fenced off due to the running water. But it is a secluded area where your dogs will not be able to run off.

Green Acres Homestead 1 Acre Sniffspot

Fully Fenced

Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pondβ€”perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. We look forward to seeing you here sometime soon.

🌿 Creekside Acres – 5+ Acre Private Dog Park in Oregon City

Partially Fenced

A peaceful, private space where dogs can run, sniff, and explore freely. Spring is one of our favorite seasonsβ€”the creek is flowing, the pasture is green, and many guests return again and again to experience it. We are a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is partially fenced and bordered by foliage and Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: β€’ No other dogs are present on the property. β€’ Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. β€’ The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. β€’ Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: β€’ Uneven ground β€’ Natural holes or divots β€’ Sloped areas β€’ Tall grass and seasonal vegetation β€’ Mud depending on weather β€’ Rocks, roots, and other natural features β€’ Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Farm Equipment: Farm equipment may be present on the property. Please stay off all equipment. Booking & Access: Access is limited to your booked time only. No early arrivals or extended stays. Creek Access: Abernathy Creek runs along part of the property and may be accessible to dogs throughout the pasture. Please note: β€’ Creek banks may be steep or uneven β€’ Owner access to the creek may be limited in certain areas β€’ Water depth and flow vary depending on season and rainfall Creek access is generally easier for dogs; human access may be difficult. If your dog is likely to enter the water, they should have reliable recall and be comfortable navigating natural terrain. Owners must supervise their dogs near the creek at all times. Health & Safety Reminder: Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Fully Fenced Yard & Driveway Parking

Fully Fenced
0.17 acres

XL backyard with lots of room to romp and some things to climb on (logs, stumps). Yard is entirely fenced, but access gate is hog fence and may allow for very small dogs to slip through. Also some stacked firewood along a 4.5ft fence means some dogs could climb the firewood and jump out. Yard backs to an elementary school and park, so at times there is recess near the back fence (busy), or just generally people at the park. Please do not use the dog kennel/enclosure area.
