Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies.  There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. The 2nd is at the top of the hill b4 you go down into valley were you will see a sign letting you know that if your early you can park there till your designated reservation time. At the bottom you will find a porta potty for your convenience with a lighted pathway after the sun has set. For your convenience you will find seven Poop Depots with bag dispensers throughout the park. A guest ( Mark) donated a fire hydrant as a much appreciated pee station for many pups. There are two water play areas. The preferable one is now down by our inlet water pipes. Its a shallow pool area feed by spring water, so there is no concern about algae. We call it the pup self wash area because it’s only belly deep and is an absolute favorite of the pups to play in. It’s also proved to help pups who might be afraid or timid of playing in water to investigate it a little more. The other is the larger man-made pond area. This at one time was a large beautiful pond, that we had invested a large amount of money to development a Doggie Dock Dive. We had also a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. It included a selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval were nearby. All that however became unusable because our neighbor who controls the water level with a dam did not like us having a private dog park and said if we didn’t shut it down he would just empty the pond, which he ultimately did and mow as a result has become a mud flat. We have a solution that will bring the level back up and have set up a Go Fund Me to help us with that expense. Any donation would receive a gift certificate to show our appreciation. They can use it for their own use or it can be given to a non Sniff Spot member to use at our park for various functions. Our Muddy Paw Spa has multiple cleaning brushes, paw wash cups, a spray hose and the more favorite is a water spray wash glove that sprays water out of the palm of the glove. This is an important option especially during our monsoon season to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. In the area where you see all the picnic tables, you will see a Doggie Dig Box filled with beach sand for those pups who have the need to just dig. Near to that is an upright 50 Pd “Tug of War” that big pups love. Next is a childrens play area to play in and on. We installed a tetherball for the children, but soon learned that the pups love playing with it, who would have guessed? Down from the children’s play area is a comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Love seeing the pups racing around that. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Private Dog Park by the Creek

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres Near Mt. Scott Creek IMPORTANT: Fresh tap water is not available in the dog field across the creek, and water bowls are not provided. If you prefer that your dog not drink from the creek, please bring your own drinking water and bowl. Just five minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre field offers plenty of open space, rolling hills, and access to peaceful Mt. Scott Creek. The creek flows year-round, although the water level drops during summer, and several areas allow dogs to wade and cool off on warm days. Please be aware that the creek is not fenced at either end, so this spot may not be suitable for dogs likely to follow the creek beyond the property. We do not use conventional chemical pesticides. The field is treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to help control pests. The creekside can become muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry throughout the year. Please bring: • Drinking water for your dog • Your own water bowl • A towel during wet or muddy weather Because the property is large, dog waste can easily be missed. Please keep track of where your dog goes and pick up all waste after. Complimentary waste bags are provided, with one trash bin near the creek and another in the upper field. A peaceful, private space where dogs can run, sniff, and explore freely. Spring is one of our favorite seasons—the creek is flowing, the pasture is green, and many guests return again and again to experience it. We are a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is partially fenced and bordered by foliage and Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Our Sniffspot is designed for dogs to enjoy private playtime, not as a venue for human parties or gatherings. We do not have restroom facilities. Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Spread across 1.5 acres of secure, fully fenced natural land, our park offers a true nature adventure for dogs of all sizes. Explore winding wooded trails, native vegetation, a field perfect for fetch with ropes, discs, or toys, and a serene wetland area where healthy little Chicken Creek flows gently through the center. With water that’s never more than a foot deep, pups can safely splash, sip, and cool off. Here, every visit is more than exercise, it’s a sensory adventure. With endless new scents, sights, and textures, your dog will love the chance to explore, sniff, and roam off-leash in a safe contained environment. If you and your dog crave more than a standard dog park, Nature in the City is the perfect escape for adventure, relaxation, and play! ⚠️ A quick note: Some trails have gentle slopes or steeper spots, so guests with limited mobility may prefer our flatter areas. ⚠️ And while our field is great for fetch with toys or discs, IT’S NOT DESIGNED FOR BALL THROWING due to the surrounding natural brush. ⚠️ Our spot’s conditions change naturally throughout the year depending on the season and weather. It gets muddy when it’s raining and dusty during the Summer months. ⚠️ Our trails and blackberry bushes are regularly maintained and cut back, although the property intentionally retains its natural vegetation and wooded character. Our creek is also a natural creek, so its water level and conditions can vary seasonally. Think of our spot like going on a secure mini hike in the Gorge! We’re always making improvements at Nature in the City, so you may notice new touches each time you visit! Amenities include: • Covered rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (extra chairs available on request) • Supplies for your convenience: dog toys, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit & even a cornhole game • Complimentary snacks & beverages for both pups AND their humans. • Outdoor seating: 2 zero-gravity recliners, a kid-sized picnic table, a round table with umbrella & 4 chairs, and a couple park benches placed throughout the park. • Fresh drinking water for your dogs • Mix of sunny open spaces and shady spots under mature trees Safety & Security: • Fully fenced with 5–6 ft fencing, carefully inspected and maintained • Private and secure environment for worry-free off-leash play Extra Features: • Night lighting: As of Sept. 2025, we’ve added additional flood lights that softly illuminate the entryway, main field, main trail, and supply shelter for about 4 hours after dark. Perfect for evening visits! ➡️ For deeper trail exploring after dark, we recommend collar lights for your pups and a headlamp or flashlight 🔦 for you. • Seasonal Note (March–September): Baby bunnies 🐰 may be nesting on the property. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • 🌧️ Weather Reminder: Areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. **🐶 Fosters and Shelter Dogs visit for free! - If you have a foster dog or are taking a shelter dog out for an adventure please let us know prior to booking! 🩵 ‼️ Please double-check your booking DATE and TIME before entering our spot to make sure you’re here during the correct day & time. We’ve had a few guests show up on the wrong day and enter the park when another guest was there (during their correct booking). This is IMPORTANT to avoid potential negative dog encounters. Rogue Ranch

Several trails, a shallow creek, and partially wooded. Main loop trail (Rogue Loop) is 0.56 miles in length. The rest of the trails add another 1/2 mile. Access to hose and bowl for fresh water and rinsing off muddy feet (not available when temperatures are below freezing). WiFi available (rogue ranch guest) at the front of property, and cell service throughout. Property can be muddy if it has been/is raining. Recommend boots for humans. Recommend strong recall for dogs visiting or long lead. Bring towels to clean/dry dog feet. Please pick up after your pet and dispense in one of the three waste containers along the trails. Please be respectful of privacy to the occupants in the house!

We are located on 45 acres of private farm land. A wide path leads to the Clackamas River. The pasture isn’t fenced but is surrounded in blackberries and brush. Very private.
