There are some Russian Olive Trees on the South side of the Park that provide wonderful shade, as well as a cottonwood near the North side, providing even more shade. This is an unobstructed, fully fenced pasture where dogs can roam freely. Water is provided at the water pump.

Our approximately 700-square-foot, fully enclosed indoor playroom offers private space for exploring, practicing skills, and enjoying time together out of the weather. The room includes climbing and play equipment, toys, drinking water, and seating for people. Bring your dog for individual playtime or bring familiar dog friends as part of the same reservation. The entire room is reserved exclusively for you and the dogs in your booking, no other dogs or customers will share it. Getting to the playroom: Entry is through our pet-friendly retail store, so you may see or hear other dogs and people on your way in and out. Please keep dogs leashed through the store and check in with staff upon arrival. Once inside the playroom with the door securely closed, dogs can enjoy off-leash play. This is a private space rental, so owners stay with and supervise their dogs throughout the visit. Please clean up after your dogs and help us keep the room ready for the next guest. Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot The Spot is over 1.25 acres of fully fenced (6' chain link) field with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil with dry groundcover during dry Summer, Fall, and Winter months, and mowed natural vegetation during the Spring and wetter Summer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about a quarter mile so it is great for the active dog owner too. This Sniffspot is a close, rural ambiance location in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. The Training Yard The Training Yard is a 60’ x 30’ fenced yard with a Dog Tuff ™ grass surface. This is a unique grass designed with dogs and drought tolerance in mind. The Training Yard is a place for your focused training. You can also use this area as a cool down area after playing in the field. And of course, this is a great yard for my guests with smaller paw prints. Please be mindful that you may want to roll in this grass with your dogs as I do with mine, so please spend time in the field area to potty your dogs before entering the Training Yard. The “Extras” The Spot and the Training Yard are included with your reservation. Some may take training to a competitive level, so I also have available as “Extras” a complete set of AKC Rally signs and equipment, AKC Obedience jumps, and some practice equipment for your Agility training. REACTION NOTICE: I share a 300-foot fence line with the neighbor to the west and have installed privacy screening to minimize distractions. The neighbor has dozens of loose chickens, and the dogs do not bother them. Dogs may bark with curiosity, which is normal and okay, but they often stop once they realize the chickens do not react. Also, the neighbor has a friendly dog that infrequently, though on random occasion has access to this shared fence line. Please consider this if your dog is highly reactive to other dogs.

Shady Fenced Yard + Open Space Trail Access

Private 2,400 sq ft fully fenced backyard in Louisville with mature trees, lots of shade, and direct access from the back gate to miles of on-leash trails and open space. This is a quiet, natural Colorado backyard with room for dogs to sniff, explore, play, and decompress away from a busy public dog park. The yard has a mix of dirt, mulch, mature landscaping, trees, and a large deck for humans to relax while dogs enjoy the space. One of the best features is the south-facing back gate, which opens directly to the public trail system. You can enjoy private yard time first, then leash up and head straight out for a longer walk without getting back in the car. The yard is fully fenced at approximately 6 feet, with mostly wood privacy fencing and a wood-framed wire section along the open-space side. Because the rear fence is partially see-through, you may occasionally see or hear walkers, cyclists, dogs, or wildlife on the trail. The area is generally quiet and trail traffic is usually light, depending on the time of day. My resident dog will remain inside the house during your visit and will not share the yard with guests, although she may occasionally be heard from inside. Street parking is available in front of the property and throughout the neighborhood. Guests enter through the west-side gate and may leave through the same gate or use the back gate for direct trail access.
