There are hammock chairs and benches to sit on at the firepit, or you are welcome to enjoy the patio set, lounge chairs, etc and hang out on the deck. We will have an umbrella up when it's hot out. Lounge chairs added in the summer time.Feel free to picnic! Just take your food garbage with you when you go. Bring a lunch or your laptop and enjoy yourself while your dog roams and runs! You might see some deer or elk, baby bunnies, squirrels, eagles, etc. Closes at dark.

My dogs are all rescues and two come from a reservation in Montana and need the space to run and be free but not having a fenced yard wasn’t an option for them. So I hope that my space can be a place for your dogs to all be free and safe!

Katie's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tacoma

We have a convenient location in Summit just off of Canyon Road near 512. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a play structure for kids and lots of shade in the summer, but plenty of sunshine too when it’s out. The backyard has a gentle slope that’s easy to navigate, we have comfortable chairs with cushions for hanging out. Feel free to move the chairs around the yard if you want a shady spot. It’s a dead end street and is pretty quiet all together. The neighbors behind the tall cedar fence have two dogs that can sometimes be heard but not seen. Lots of people walk their dogs on leashes on the main road but it is not really visible from the backyard. We are located really close to an entrance to Orangegate Park with its newly paved and unpaved trails. You’re welcome to leave your car parked here if you’re going to enjoy some on leash time with your dog at Orangegate before or after your visit. We do not have any pets of our own but do have two little people on premises, please let me know if you’d like to introduce your dog to some kids. My kiddos are amazingly respectful, gentle and patient with dogs so would be great kids to introduce your dogs to if you’re trying to get them accustomed to kids.
