Beautiful 1 acre, fully fenced backyard, lots of green, some areas are mildly manicured. Backs up to a huge hill. Backyard has lots of blackberries, fig trees, apple tree, and herbs. Wonderful place to sit peacefully or play around!

Large yard with two sides wood fence and two side chainlink fence. Two spaces to sit and relax. Large playset, trampoline and toys available for children. Dog and human refreshments provided on hot days. Please note that due to the sections of chainlink and potential sight of other pups we do not recommend our yard to reactive dogs.

At the forest edge, the Madhatter trail invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven at our fully fenced sanctuary. For environmental reasons, the creek area is not fenced. Our hilly forested land, a tapestry of guardrails, fences, gates, natural barriers, rolling trails, springs and creeks, is a haven for play. These trails, once trodden by horses, have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now fun for paws and feet alike. We’ve nurtured this tranquil forest back to life by planting more than 600 saplings. The canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Yew, BigLeaf Maple, and Alder, filled out as soon as there was more light. These trails whisper stories of the past. In the spring, summer, and fall, lush frilly leaves decorate every breeze with greenery in motion. Wonderlane isn’t just a place; it’s an experience—a Sniffspot designed with your dog’s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, under ferns you’ll enjoy the sight of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living vista of nature. Though some wildlife is a rare sight, the forest is alive with the songs of songbirds - sparrows, finches, thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, such as majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Please use the garbage bins at the top driveway entrance for disposal of any waste. Please close the hydrants completely. Press the hydrant water handle into the completely closed position after use. If the water is not pressed completely closed it affects our water system pressure. Please close every gate. Dogs must be leashed going to and coming from the parking area, and may be unleashed when entering the dog park. We rely upon guests to contact us and tell us immediately if they need anything. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. There are gates to the creek so you can control access. We continue to improve everything except the fundamentally lovely forest, creek, air, light, trees, bushes, plants, and all the birds.

I bought this house for my dog Zeus because of the large yard. Zeus enjoyed it for many years before he passed in 2023 at the age of 16. He would have wanted other dogs to get to enjoy it too.

River access July through September. Very secluded area with only one family who visits when it’s nice with their two dogs.
