55Great spot to walk with your dogs off leash. Nice mowed paths to walk on.
55This was our 1st Sniffspot experience and it set the bar quite high. We're travelling in our RV with our recently adopted 1 yo Heeler/Doodle who LOVES to run. The Host was very kind, the location is lovely and it has everything you could possibly need or want. We hit the road again with a very happy dog and will definitely visit again when in the area. 55Great space! It’s very accommodating and beautiful. And although there were toys, my pup preferred to just run around in circles until he wore himself out. He’s never been able to run free in such a big space as we have a small yard, so I loved being able to watch him enjoy the freedom. I would definitely recommend.

“If it's cold feel free to turn on the electric heater hanging from the ceiling in the tack room (please remember to turn it off when you leave). This is a pretty quiet neighborhood but on nice days people are out on the street or in their back yards (hardly visible when the leaves return in the spring).”

Description

Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away while running in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as I am at an age now where I probably won't be getting another dog; so, I want others to enjoy the land. After the first freeze, I drain the interior pipes and hot water heater to the wash stall inside the barn, there is however a 12-month frost free outdoor fountain on the back side of the barn by the woods with a water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about .4 miles for a walk / run around the inside of the perimeter of the five acre field (.2 miles if you cut through the middle to avoid the little hill on the side next to the houses on the road). Born and raised here, I bought the family house and barn from my siblings after my mother passed away in 2020. She loved her horses and dogs (at one time she had six German Shepherds).. My boy Buster was 16 when he passed away in his sleep and having your dog(s) run around in his field like he used to makes me happy, so I thought this would be a nice way to share the land and honor his memory.
