The property is just over 8 acres and fully fenced with barb wire cattle fencing. The portion of the property around the house has more secure wire mesh fencing! We have lots of seating available, we just ask you don't come onto the porch for our dog's sake (: The property has meadows, trees, walking trails, and a pond for you and your pup to enjoy! Right off 35! Are you traveling down 35 with your pet? Take a pit stop at our Sniffspot and let your furry friend stretch their legs then be back on the road no problem!

Ava's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Alvarado

This is an open pasture, actually about 20 acres with another 20 adjacent. We are excited to become hosts and the fencing is cow/horse fencing. There is freedom to hike with your pet the entire area. The views are awesome. You will see Hawks, owls, rabbits, field mice and the random coyote, that will not come near you. Great for photos as well. You can come for sunrises and sunsets or any time of day. Bring your picnic and enjoy the out doors. Low riding cars may have problems driving in the pasture. There is a gravel gas well road into the property to the top of the pasture.

Our spot is fully fenced once you drive through the main gate! We have three dogs, but they will always be kept inside during a visit. The back acre of our property backs up to the woods at Joe Poole Lake and is fenced as well to separate our property from the woods. There is typically someone in the main house if guests need anything during their visit. We provide freshwater for the dogs, chairs for humans sit in, and a tent canopy cover for shade. We can also provide toys if requested. We love our dogs so anything we can do to make the space more accommodating, we are happy to get feedback on!
