My name is Michele and I live in the Black Forest area of Colorado. I am a huge animal lover and currently have two cats and one dog of my own. I board dogs in my house and in client residences and also do drop ins for feedings and walks while my clients are away, on vacation, work long hours or have long commutes or just have special circumstances. Rolling hills, patches of short and tall grass & a sandy area give your pup plenty of variety to roam and investigate. This private space is also a great fit for reactive dogs or those who need a calm, low-traffic environment. Street parking is available near the entrance and a two-gate entry system provides an added layer of security - allowing you to enter at your own pace and help your dog transition calmly into the space. As you come through the gate, you'll find a covered canopy and welcome station with fresh water, clean bowls, poop bags, toys and towels - everything you need for a comfortable visit. Chairs are available so you can sit back, relax and soak in those gorgeous Pike Peak views while your dog does their thing. Wildlife sightings are part of the charm - you may see hawks overhead, rabbits in the grass and occasionally deer passing by. Two resident barn cats also live on the property, but they're very shy and rarely seen. Please help keep Charlie's Hideaway clean and enjoyable for everyone by picking up after your dog (poop bags are provided and a trash can is located at the gate).
