55Willow Pond is amazing! We drive up from Seattle and it was well worth the trip! Marisa has a welcoming table of snacks and beverages for dogs and humans alike, as well as a great assortment of dog toys. The property has all the things my dogs love…. Large open fields for running, wooded pathways, and a pond for swimming. There are conveniently places water bowls, benches and chairs around the property, and the pathways are clearly marked. It was hard to leave, we were having so much fun. We’ll definitely be back!
55We LOVED our time at Willow Pond. We have four dogs; two Aussies, a pug and a bulldog-basset hound mix and they all had an amazing time! There were drinks for humans and fresh water bowls for the pups. They had treats and chuck its and dog bags. This was practically a dog resort. The views were beautiful, and the little lake was so pastoral. We would definitely book again.
55Our dogs loved it. Such a beautiful place. We will definitely be back
55This was our second visit to this spot, and it couldn't be more perfect! It's so clean, peaceful, and beautiful. There is plenty of room for chasing balls but also lots of places to explore and sniff.
55Amazing place! My dogs loved exploring by the lake. The seating areas with water bowls along the way were a wonderful touch. We will definitely come again!
55What a fantastic sniff spot! Super clean! Such a beautiful place, so peaceful and tons of space for the pups to run and explore. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property! Oh and we owe you 2 balls! The boys dropped them in the pond and we couldn’t find them. We will bring a fresh pack as soon as we return!
55This is a must see SniffSpot! The grounds are so clean and beautiful and at every turn, there are chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery and water bowls with fresh water for the “kids.” Willow Pond is a sight to behold with all the different birds and geese enjoying the tranquil setting. Our rambunctious lab was especially excited to see that part of the property! One hour is almost not enough time to take it all in so we’ll definitely be back! Thank you Marisa!!
55We love this Sniffspot!!! One of the nicest spots we’ve been to! Marisa was so sweet and accommodating when we ran into ferry delays. There were yummy dog and human treats provided for us. The trails were super well maintained, lots of fresh drinking water, and plenty of nice places to sit and relax, as well as easy to follow directions to find everything. We will definitely be back!
55What a gem!!! Big meadow to run in, lovely trail through the woods to the pond. So quiet and peaceful. Our smooth fox terrier was so happy!
55Great spot, plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Nice path down to the water and lots to explore. There’s a little dog run too if you want to try to get your dogs to jump or do agility (mine didn’t understand lol). Would love to return.

Description

Welcome to Willow Pond Dog Retreat! A little slice of paradise is awaiting you and your fur babies. Enjoy an eight acre meadow with plenty of space for a game of fetch, chase, or just sit and relax and enjoy Mt. Baker views. There's trails around a lake where your pups will enjoy plenty of sniffing. You may see sightings of eagles, geese, ducks, otter, and much more. *The trail down to the lake is marked with orange ribbons on two trees, which you can see from the field. Follow the ribbons and you'll see a white sign that takes you to the lake.* We also have a small dog run (50x100) with some agility equipment.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Thorny vegetation, and nettles bordering the trails to the lake and around the lake. Also, there are some mole holes in the field that are close to the back of the house. You'll see a large patch of dark, green grass and that's where they are, but they are easy to avoid. Also, there may be some deer droppings in the field. *There is a shooting range 2 miles away, therefore you may hear gun pops at times.* Bugs down by the lake can be a little pesky in the summer, so bug spray is recommended which we have provided, if needed. *And another note:* On windy day, be careful of falling branches while walking through the trails down by the lake. If it’s really windy we will close our spot.

Hello! My husband and I and our 2-year-old Aussie (Milo) have a lovely, secluded 18 acre property here on beautiful Whidbey Island that we'd love to share with you and your pup(s). We understand the importance of having a safe spot to let your fur friends run about. Our place has a shared lake with trails and an eight acre meadow with spectacular views of Mt. Baker and the cascade foothills. Let our spot be you and your pup(s) next adventure!

Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k

Corinne's Barkley Park, 1 Fully Fenced Private Dog Park on over 5 acres of quiet countryside in Lake Stevens

Enjoy our quiet rural setting on our 5+ acres with our fully fenced 1 acre play area for your dogs. Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres, just 3 miles from Old Town Lake Stevens. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. If interested in professional pet photography. Inquire with us for details. Portrait sessions are offered on our location. As well as European Organic Wild Antique Sourdough and artisan bread loaves. Organic Dog treats of the same recipe are available to purchase. Some weekends we have a bakery table of Organic European Sourdough loaves, baguettes, fresh scones, cookies, picnic lunch sandwiches, and of course pup treats. A message in as advanced and we can have your lunch, loaves, or scones ready at your arrival to not slow you down. Just give us a heads up if you would like to indulge and custom order a lunch. You may often see myself, my husband and my mother enjoying the house yard, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our homes. An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. We live above a farm who takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. We also have 2 very large friendly cats. Please be careful with your dogs if you see an occasional cat. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Enjoy! Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'.
