We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner.

Trees surround the pasture giving a secluded area away from roads or sight of other properties. This is country living with all the country smells to sniff. Lots of room to run and play. Room for multiple dogs and families to enjoy their pets, yet private with no other dogs here when you are enjoying time with your pet. Have a great time. New: afternoon sunshade wall, will add extra chairs, and a large 100 gallon water tub for your dogs to cool or play. Long and short grass for your dog to romp. Plenty of critters for your dogs to chase. Mole, voles, gophers. You might see an occasional deer. Enjoy the open, quiet atmosphere. Reminder:: there is a blue mailbox next to the gate by the fenced area. There are some supplies in there, like poop bags, hand sanitizer and other. The wind blows so bad it unrolls the little bags when I have them out. I will get another lid for the waste container.

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.

We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on.

We offer a full acre of manicured pasture. There are two wading pools for dogs to play in toys, balls, peeposts, fire hydrants, and even a large sunshade, which will put you in the mindset of the far off middle east. There are large, comfortable seats and more ! Come check us out! !

This property is a walk under the canopy and in the sun. There are deer trails to go on and you will always find the road. Bring your boots during rainy season. Preferred parking is at the lower entrance (Red gate). The trail is 3/4 mile out and back with many off trail options. Learn about native plants from interpretive signs provided using resources from the Stillaguamish Tribe.

Awesome fully fenced backyard, with playground and fun accessories (agility accessories such as hoops, tunnels, poles…). Fresh water, lots of tennis balls and tons of space for zoomies and fun!

Large yard with two sides wood fence and two side chainlink fence. Two spaces to sit and relax. Large playset, trampoline and toys available for children. Dog and human refreshments provided on hot days. Please note that due to the sections of chainlink and potential sight of other pups we do not recommend our yard to reactive dogs.

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Welcome! Hot summer days call for a doggie pool. Let your buddies run and play on our field, then take a break getting their paws wet or laying in our doggie cool pool! Please note that my booking window is only 14 days out. Please check back for later dates. We hope the humans will enjoy the peacefulness of the field with surrounding woods and peek-a-boo views of the valley. Since our SniffSpot is behind our outbuilding, you have lots of privacy and rarely see anyone during your visit. Our field offers shade at all times of day and often a breeze in the afternoon. It can be very pleasant on hot days. We have a hose with a sprayer if your dog needs an extra cool down. We have toys and balls for the dogs, a covered area with chairs, a couple chairs in the field that can be moved to the shade or sun, poop bags and water bowl by the hose. We have a reserved parking space just for you! My default is to keep my dog in the house while you arrive and depart. He could possibly in his separate dog run by the split rail fence. If you know that seeing him might upset your dog, let me know and I'll make sure he's not seen.

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, check out Sniffpass. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you have older dog/s and would like to drive below the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres, just 3 miles from Old Town Lake Stevens. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run for safe exercise. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and safe exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, very safe exercise, just watch your footing. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may often see myself, my husband and my mother enjoying the house yard, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our homes. An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. We also have 2 very large friendly cats. Please be careful with your dogs if you see an occasional cat. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Now OPEN! For those who don't mind a makeshift netting "gate" at the top of the driveway. This sniffspot will be primarily for those who want to swim and fetch in the lake…or take your human out to paddle board or kayak! This sniffspot is our second lot, next to our house lot. You will have 80’ of lake front (patio and grass), a 30’ wide swim area with easy in & out stairs and pea gravel lake bottom…plus the whole lake if you venture out! *All proceeds go toward improving the sniff spot! Suggestions welcomed! First item on wish list- real gate at top of driveway.

We are located in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Bellingham. Our "back 40" is a mostly maintained lawn with several trees for shade and a covered back porch for resting. Two sides of the "back forty" are bordered with a 6 foot cedar privacy fence. The far back of the yard borders a city watershed with a 6 foot chain link fence. Deer can often be spotted on the watershed but will leave the area once you and your fur baby arrive. Please consider posting a picture of you and your dog playing on our back forty. :)

It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the upper pond, woods and off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!

We are so excited to welcome you here! Once you book, please tell us a little bit about your dog and their needs. We’d love to hear feedback about the meadow and anything we can do to make it a great experience for your pup and you. GETTING HERE 9420 West Saanich Rd - This is the first driveway north of Ardmore golf course on the west side of West Saanich. - Drive up the long driveway, take the sudden left turn at the farmhouse, and straight ahead another 3 metres is the SniffSpot meadow -Park there (you'll see a chalkboard sign) - The meadow is on your left THE MEADOW - this is a fully-fenced 1/2 acre with 5ft tall fences resting a few inches off the ground. It is secure for small dogs. - it is a shady spot with dappled sunlight, full of deciduous ornamental trees, wild mint, and grasses - there is a flock of chickens next to the dog meadow, visible but protected by fencing AMENITIES - water and a dog bowl are at the front of the gate. Use the spigot and hose to fill the bowl as needed - an electric outlet is here as well for charging devices - garbage is in the “pan-insula” bin clearly marked at the entrance to the meadow. Put dog waste in the garbage bin, not the compost bin.

River access July through September. Very secluded area with only one family who visits when it’s nice with their two dogs.

Beautiful 1 acre, fully fenced backyard, lots of green, some areas are mildly manicured. Backs up to a huge hill. Backyard has lots of blackberries, fig trees, apple tree, and herbs. Wonderful place to sit peacefully or play around!

The back yard where you’ll be is all grass with a small patio area surrounded by a secure 6 foot wood fence with a double gated entry. •Please note• We have added a seasonal pool for the humans (location in yard shown in photos) that is off limits to guests and is gated off with a wire fence. Wading pool, hose, or sprinkler available as extra add ons upon request. We have a table, chairs, and patio umbrellas you’re welcome to use as well as any dog toys that are in the yard. If it’s raining during your visit or your dog(s) will be doing water play, I’ll provide a towel. There is a power outlet next to the slider you’re welcome to use.

I bought this house for my dog Zeus because of the large yard. Zeus enjoyed it for many years before he passed in 2023 at the age of 16. He would have wanted other dogs to get to enjoy it too.
