We have a large fenced in area and also have a 1 acre field available but is not fenced. We have agility equipment including weaves, jumps, teeters and dog walks, and obedience jumps including broad jump. We also have benches and chairs, treats and toys!! We have pooper scoopers and a trash can. We have a small pool and a larger pool for kids and dogs!!The hose is available if you want it, including dog shampoo and towels. We will have water available if needed but bring your own bowl. We have a long driveway and plenty of parking. Please drive up the driveway and into the parking lot by the gate to enter. We have plenty of sun but also large shade trees! Kids welcome!!

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) after work and weekends tend to have more shooting noise during hunting seasons. * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

FYI: A controlled burn was recently conducted in the back field because that area is state-owned. Our property remains open, including the full 16 acres available for your visit. Please just be mindful of the areas that do not belong to us. Come let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us, and we think you and your pup will love it too. Located on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois, our property is doggy heaven for dogs that are trained to be off-leash. Take a walk, bring a frisbee or ball, or simply let your dog sniff and explore. Please note that our property is not fenced. It connects to a beautiful piece of state-owned land, but that land is not included in your rental. Your booking covers only our 16-acre property. If you choose to go beyond our property lines, please understand that we are not responsible for the state-owned land, as it is not part of our Sniffspot. We also have many farm animals on the property, so we ask that all guests be respectful of our land and animals. We take great pride in our farm and love sharing it, and we want to keep it beautiful for everyone. Entry into any barns or buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of the property, as we do live on-site and appreciate our privacy. This is a working farm, so you may occasionally see cars or people near the barns and lot as you arrive. If your dog is reactive, please keep them on a leash until you reach the back field. Also, please remember that this is a farm, not a park. The ground may be uneven in places, and there may be holes or other natural hazards caused by animals or farm activity. Please use caution, as we are not responsible for injuries related to the terrain.

The Downtown Dog spot is a private indoor 1100sq ft play space. There is a lounge and kitchenette section for owners who want to use Wi-Fi and hang out while their dog plays, use the areas for training, and large play area with agility equipment. Play, train, or hangout and relax. We have a dog toy and treat retail area, as well as complimentary water and coffee. Burn off some steam then go explore downtown Waukesha and all of its dog friendly restaurants and shops!

My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!
