Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) after work and weekends tend to have more shooting noise during hunting seasons. * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. (Full dog washing station coming early Summer 2024!) - The kiddie pool will be out on hot days for your dog to cool off in!
