PLEASE READ: For my regulars, and those who were excellent visitors, thank you! I am so sorry to have to close. Our lease ran out and the new owners of the property have decided they do not wish to be landlords. We purchased a home in Milton, but I have not decided if I will reopen the spot in the Spring. While the majority of my visitors are amazing; cleaning up after themselves, reporting lost or damaged items and being good people, there were a few that left trash, destroyed toys, hoses, tools, solar fountains AND DID NOT TELL ME. Most of these same people left less than 5 stars for things like the grass not being short enough, I did not do a good enough job weed whacking and ticks. If I could choose who visits, I would likely try to reopen next year with the same setup at my new home. For now, this is goodbye.

Hazards

HOST NOTE

No small dogs (under 15lbs) we are constantly doing battle with our resident groundhog, who likes to dig under the fence to get to the clover that is abundant in the spot. Rocks in tall grass spots, possibly wild rose bushes with thorns popping up in non-mowed areas, wild mushrooms, wild roses growing against the fence on the woods side, ticks, thistle, hawks, and eagles. Possible holes from prior dogs digging. On your Sniffari walk you might encounter: Wild mushrooms, burs, thistle, ticks, bees, wasps, caterpillars, frogs, skunks, porcupines, bears, deer, coyotes, hawks, eagles, bobcats, old barbed wire, uneven ground, vines on the ground, rocks sticking up, roots, all the normal hazards that you would find in nature. Bald eagles and hawks hunt here, small dogs could be at risk, so do not leave them unattended. ELECTRIC FENCING around horse pasture.

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too.
