We have a beautiful, heated in-ground salt pool open through October, plenty of seating with an umbrella, and a fully fenced one-acre yard for sniffing! We kindly ask no humans in the pool, only dogs may swim. For safety and security, please know there are outside cameras recording. We can't wait to host you and your pup! We kindly ask that you refrain from arriving more than five minutes early, as we often have guests back-to-back and need time to clean and tidy for your visit to make sure it's ready for your pup fun! We’re excited to share our farm with you and your pups! Our 114-acre property is something really special—rolling fields, shaded wooded trails, and ponds where dogs can swim and play freely. It’s peaceful, private, and incredibly beautiful in every season. We’ve tried to think of all the little details to make your visit easy and enjoyable, including trail maps with distances, fresh drinking water for both you and your dog, towels for muddy paws or wet fur, and easy parking on asphalt. We’re dog lovers ourselves and have two rescue pups who will be safely secured inside our home during your reserved time so you can enjoy uninterrupted access to the property. Whether you’re here for a long walk or just to let your dog run wild, we hope it feels like your own private retreat.

100 Acre Unfenced Private Fields, Trails, Ponds & Streams

A true off-leash adventure for dogs who love freedom and nature! Enjoy 100 acres of unfenced fields, rolling hills, and wooded trails—perfect for dogs who love to explore. You can hike on designated trails, on mowed fields or use the ponds for water training for hours with your pup(s). Our farm has: ✔️ Abundant wildlife! ✔️ Wide-open, completely unfenced land ✔️ Natural terrain with fields, hills, and trails ✔️ Ponds, streams and endless sniffing opportunities Parking & Arrival: Please park to the right of the big red barn, by the dumpster and begin walking from there. The farm sits on a very sharp curve, so use caution when entering and exiting the property. Dogs must be on leash when exiting your car and near the road. Once you are safely away from the road and barn, dogs may be off leash for the remainder of your visit. If your dog has never been off leash, we recommend you have an airtag or a GPS collar on them. Please do not let your dog leave the designated walking areas on our farm. Occasionally, you may see an older grampa (my father) working in the fields.

Acres of fun

I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!

If you want your dog to have fresh water for your visit, please add the kiddie pool extra and we will dump and refill with fresh water right before your visit. 🚨Rules🚨 • Digging allowed behind the shed only. • Pick up poop. We have two poop bag stations, and a trash can. • Place used bowls in the “dirty” bin on the side of the shed. • Put toys/tennis balls back in the toy boxes. •Close gate behind you when you leave. ** The pool is not available to guests at this time. ** 🎉 Events / Parties Welcome 🎉 Message us prior to booking. Please include number of dogs and people/cars in your message. 📍Spot Details 📍 Large open, fenced-in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car beds, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including tons of tennis balls, and several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.
