Description

Fully fenced private est. 3/4-1 acre fenced in yard in a very quiet community, grassy full sun yard with a shaded area for resting/recovery, dog treats and plenty of toys and water available. We are right up the street from Pollak Vineyards, bring your dog to Skye's Sanctuary for fun, and then grab a drink afterwards! Security cameras on property.

Please do not go into the wooded area in back of the property. Only the front yard after parking. Please keep dogs leashed until in the front yard with the gate closed. Security cameras on property for safety.

Hi, I'm Abby! I work for a nonprofit serving children with medical needs, and my husband is a firefighter/EMT. We're lifelong animal lovers with two dogs and cats of our own. When we moved into our home, we built the fence that would eventually become Skye's Sanctuary. It was inspired by our beloved dog, Skye, who has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Skye was a rescue who had been living as a stray in Georgia. Because of the trauma she experienced before finding us, she needed a safe, private space away from unfamiliar dogs and people where she could run, play, and simply be herself. Skye's Sanctuary is her legacy. We hope it gives other reactive, rowdy, rescue, or simply privacy-loving dogs the same sense of freedom, safety, and joy that it gave Skye.
