55Every time we visit our dogs have a blast! The river flow was very low this time, so we were able to walk all the way across and explore the river bed! Saw several types of wild birds this time! An owl, a common merganser, and a blue heron! We even saw the crayfish swimming about! Our dogs are about 60lbs and the water came up the their necks at the deepest as we crossed the river. However, during high flow times they are immediately swimming right off the edge of the bank. When the water is “high flow” it’s not dangerous for dogs that are strong swimmers as the water is just deeper but still puts along at a slower pace (I wouldn’t let a small dog or one who isn’t amazing at swimming out there without a life jacket either way!)
55I am honestly speechless at how perfect this place is. We played in the gorgeous river with our pooch and ended the visit by throwing her ball near the pumpkin patch. It is beyond a slice of paradise and such a gem. I couldn’t recommend more!!
55What a doggie paradise! My two girls absolutely loved Baileys happy place, and appreciate her sharing it with us! Anthony the host was very kind, timely and thoroughly on meeting us to help us understand the property. He was kind and had toys/fresh water for my girls as soon as we arrived. I felt comfortable and more confident once he explained the spot to me. The area is VERY well maintained, cleaned and super easy to follow so you spend your time enjoying! I was worried about the water clarity being there have been recent storms, but Anthony was kind enough to reassure me the river cleared up and the local VT water advisory posts the most up to date levels etc! The water was heavenly, clear and still warm, it was private and tranquil and I barely could get my border collie out when it was time to go! 10/10 recommend all around! Thanks Bailey and Anthony!
