Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We respect and understand how important it is to interact with your dog in a protected safe area with out worry of having a stressful issue with your dog and another dog or person. We live on a private road and the traffic is limited. All dogs that visit our yard appear to go home happy and content and always run straight for the yard when they come back!

Quiet Fenced Yard with Brook Access – Peaceful Dog Retreat

Welcome to our quiet, creekside dog spot! This is a peaceful, private fenced yard located beside beautiful Otter Brook—perfect for dogs (and owners!) who enjoy nature and water. The fenced play area is approximately 5,000 sq ft and offers plenty of room for sniffing, exploring, and zoomies. Just outside the fence, you’ll find the brook, which guests are welcome to enjoy with leashed dogs. It’s a great spot for pups who love to splash! What’s included: * 4 ft tall fenced yard * Chairs and picnic table for relaxing * Fresh water bowls * Dog toys * Poop scooper * Off-street driveway parking Important fencing & access notes (please read): Our Sniffspot is designed to be a simple, affordable place for dogs to safely enjoy off-leash time in nature. The fencing is basic 4 ft welded wire fencing and works well for most dogs, but please keep the following in mind: * Not recommended for skilled jumpers or climbers. * Very small dogs may be able to squeeze through gaps near the bottom of the fence or around the gate. * The entrance gate is secured with a green bungee cord. Please fasten it exactly as you found it (or as shown on the posted instructions) to ensure the gate remains securely closed. * We strongly recommend doing a quick perimeter check upon arrival to make sure the space is a good fit for your dog. Accessibility: The fenced yard can be reached by either: * Stone steps (please note there is currently no handrail), or * A gradual grassy slope alongside the road, which many guests find to be an easier alternative. Environment: * Quiet, peaceful setting with very little foot traffic. * Located near a road, so occasional passing cars may be seen or heard. * A brook runs alongside the property outside the fenced area. * Wildlife such as birds, squirrels, wild turkeys, and deer are occasionally spotted. ⚠️ For safety, our tie-out line is not available for guest use.

Howling Pines 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park in Pembroke/Concord

Welcome to Howling Pines Sniffspot, a private, peaceful place designed with your dog’s best day in mind. We’re open 7 days a week 6a - 9p with lights to illuminate late night and early morning visits. Located just 5 minutes from Target in Concord, NH, Howling Pines offers approximately 1 fully fenced acre of mixed terrain for running, sniffing, exploring, playing, or simply enjoying some off-leash freedom. The entire Sniffspot is enclosed with 5-foot-tall, 14-gauge welded livestock wire fencing with approximately 2" x 4" openings, providing a secure boundary while maintaining the natural, open feel of the property. Please see photos of fencing included in the listing. Our Sniffspot sits on a private 6.5-acre property, set back more than 350 feet from a quiet, dead-end residential street. The space combines a grassy backyard with cleared, tree-covered woods, giving dogs plenty of room to explore different sights, smells, and terrain. Approximately 2/3 of the Sniffspot is wooded, making it especially fun for dogs who love to sniff, wander, and investigate. Designed for Safe, Easy Arrivals: We know that getting in and out safely can be one of the most stressful parts of visiting a new place, especially with reactive, nervous, excited, or escape-prone dogs. That’s why the entrance to Howling Pines features a double-gated airlock located directly beside your designated parking area, allowing you to move from your vehicle into the Sniffspot quickly and securely. Stay & Play After Dark and Early Morning Hours: Early sunset or late sunrise shouldn't stop you or your pups from having fun. The yard is lit for evening and early morning visits, making it easier for you and your dog to continue enjoying the space after the sun goes down, especially during our shorter New England fall and winter days. All lights are solar powered and motion activated. Located in Warren, just under 30 minutes from Plymouth, and minutes away from the Baker River and other lovely walks and attractions, is 29 acres of private trails and bushwhacking, backed by conservation (also great bushwhacking!) and National Forest after that. There is a dog on site if you’re looking for doggy playtime and someone to run with- or you can venture alone with a small amount of notice. This site also hosts two pet-friendly forest Airbnb’s though it’s not usual to run into others. There is a small-ish vernal pond (usually stays somewhat full all year) at the bottom of the property if you’re looking to play in the mud- if not it’s easy to avoid. There are penned chickens in a coop at the main dwelling.
