55Great spot! Clean had toys there and lot of room to run around bonus points for being close to home
55Gorgeous fall day for the pups to run in this great space!
55Great space. My grand pups love it!
55Nice hidden gem in Hillsboro! Big enough for fetch or just lots of sniffing and exploring. The fencing was great and secure for my lab. We will be back!
55Great spot! As described. Lots of toys and the small pool is nice in the summer!
55This sniffspot great! It was very quiet and so much to sniff. Unfortunately our old rescues paw started to hurt 30 minutes into our visit so we had to go home early, but we will definitely be back!
55Great sniffs! We had a blast:)
55Rosie and Ruby had a great time, they must have sniffed every square inch of the place. The size was perfect.
55Great spot for inquisitive dogs who like to explore - the yard has so many little spots and nooks and crannies... Our dogs sniffed and wandered around the entire time! There were apple trees with a fair number of apples on the ground, and blackberry bushes with thorns on one side of the yard, several vehicles which our dogs were VERY interested in, and a pool with a hose for filling it. The owner also provided poop bags and a waste container, and a nice selection of toys. Overall, a great spot in the heart of Hillsboro.
55My pup and I had a great time! Yard was clean and it was a nice, quiet neighborhood. We'll definitely be back!

Neighbors dogs can be seen through the fencing if they’re out. The pug will try to stick her head through to play, she’s very friendly even if another dog is trying to bite at her. Other neighbors walk their dogs on the street which is about 4ft from the see through fencing. You may see a neighbors cat or two on occasion.

Description

WARNING FOR 5/17-5/19: The airshow is going on this weekend and many of the planes fly directly over our house which can be incredibly loud. The show goes from 12:30p to about 4p-4:30p but I don’t know if they’ll be practicing before and/or after. This may be scary to some dogs. If you’d still like to come, I suggest bringing ear plugs 😉 If you come and it doesn’t work out then we can set another time for you to come and I’ll make sure that you don’t get charged again. Note: If you stay longer than 1/2 the time you’ve reserved then it will be assume that it did work out for you and you will not be given a rescheduled time at no charge. Welcome to Happy Haven Dog Park, where tails wag and hearts bark with joy! Nestled amidst lush greenery, our park offers a pupper paradise for your furry friends to run and play. With an acre of open space and play area, your canine companions can run free and unleash their inner joy. Whether your dog loves chasing balls, exploring new scents, playing ‘Pup of the Hill’, or simply lounging in the sun, or shade, we have something for every pup. Happy Haven Dog Park, where every bark is a smile and every wag is pure happiness! 🐾

We have 4 dogs, all mutts of all different breeds and all rescues. I’m pretty sure my husband is the only one crazy enough to get to work when I said I wanted a fence around the entire yard for the kids and dogs. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
