You will have to drive around road closed signs to get here. ** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. As your pets play, enjoy birdwatching and sightings of cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays, bluebirds, hummingbirds, finches, and more. Wildlife less present in winter. No pesticides or chemicals are used anywhere on the property. Grass is doggy-safe. Only organic cedar mulch with no dyes are present.
