Happy Paws Farm in Inwood WV

Complete freedom to roam on 30 acres with a bonus that our land is surrounded by another 200+ acres of electric company owned land with no roads, no cars, no neighbors… just grass and forest. We occasionally have farm animals positioned on an acre or 2 who are fully fenced in. If you see blue fence posts with white wire / rope running between them, please assume the fence is electrified. We would ask that you use caution with your dogs around the livestock areas so as not to frighten the animals or the dogs! We have a Google Earth picture roughly showing the property lines and the driveway for you to use while exploring. Bonus: We are a small farm so if you are interested in picking up some chicken or pork - send us a message and we can have your order ready for pick up when you arrive. Park anywhere on the road or at the big circle at the top (near the farm office.) We have wifi near the brown shed at the top of the road. We are also happy to give you a future free sniff spot hour with the purchase of chicken or pork! Just inquire within! Be forewarned that our land is on the side of a mountain so the walk up the driveway will be on a slow incline. Your dogs will be tired after this trip, we promise.

This is currently an unused horse paddock on our property.

Our home is down a quiet road that ends on a cul de sac, you can park in the driveway or street. There are 2 available gates to use on either side of the house. Beyond the gate you will find a basic family yard. Grass is trimmed, there's a play-set, a welcoming patio and a few chairs around a fire pit. It's a great space to throw a frisbee or just sit and let your pet explore. We're looking forward to your visit!

Newly fenced field with shade canopies adjacent to Greensburg Bed & Biscuit. You may see dogs who are boarding or training as they pass by the field. Please put used poop bags in the trash can on the kennel porch. Please bring your own water as there is not currently water available.

Space for dogs to exercise and play on Saturdays, outdoor just under half acre with an 8’ tall privacy fence, indoor space as large as 700 square feet sometimes available.

Beautiful private yard with 6’ vinyl fencing on both sides. Private entrance with gate code. Plenty of seating. Agility equipment and fire pit included in rate. Year round hydrant for water (town water). Like us on Facebook “peaceful acre” for more photos and updates. Propane-powered fire pit with instructions and roasting sticks included. BYO marshmallows and ‘s’more fixings! :-) 

Our yard, though not enormous, is the perfect spot for your pup to run and get some energy out! It’s lengthy so there’s plenty of room to throw a ball, frisbee or other toys. Our dogs enjoy running in circles and around the trampoline. We have one of the largest lots on the street and the pups love playing back there. It’s fully fenced but please make sure the gate is latched upon entering / exiting. We find out dogs rest under the trampoline for shade when needed. There is a trashcan on the deck should you need to deposit waste or you can use the rake/ bucket system we have and we will deposit it later. There is a water bowl on the deck. During warmer seasons, the hose will be turned on and there will be an auto dog spigot attached. Once your pup learns to drink from this - they won’t stop! There are various toys spread throughout the yard. There are 2 chairs and a table on the back deck available for you to use to sit and watch your pups play. We are backed against a black trail so you’ll sometimes see walkers walking. There’s a pond across the street which is fun to walk with your pups along with a waste station should you choose to use that. One neighbor has a dog and one doesn’t so you will occasionally see a dog outside. Parking - we suggest you park on Destiny and walk down the path to our house. You may enter through the gate which will be easier than coming in through the front.

50 acres surrounded by 150 acres of Beautiful Pastures, Woods, Trails, 2 ponds, feel free to picnic by the water with your hairy friends. Please feel free to park anywhere in the area where the green dumpster is located..and feel free to walk the trails, fields , whereever your little hairy firends would like to run..

Dogs can run around 2.25 acres of fully fenced yard and green space, with a shallow creek in the back if they want to splash or cool down and explore some forest area. It's a low traffic neighborhood so good for reactive dogs (We've got one! He'll be away).

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A kiddie pool as an extra (April- September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table.  If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in early spring when the temperatures warm up. When the water to the spigot is turned off, there will be a jug of fresh water on the back steps for your use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it for discarding your poop bags, on the left side of the door to the shed. Please knot your poop bags. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. They can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys. Please try to keep your dog from laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the winter, please try to keep your dog(s) from the flowerbeds that are on the perimeter of the yard in front of the fences. Those areas tend to get muddy in the winter months, but are full of flowers in the spring/summer. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.
