55Great communication, very quiet, and peaceful! Exactly what I expected:)
55Great spot. Very well taken care of, with a hammock and swing I checked out. Also shaded garden area that is beautiful. The baby pool in the back was enjoyed by my girl Kona. My guy was busy with smells and perimeter checks. They both passed out immediately in the car. Highly recommend
55we checked out another spot recently and i could tell nori wasn’t enjoying it as much as this spot. cheryl’s yard was clean and well taken care of just like last time. there’s plenty of seating and shade for days like today. thank you again for giving us a spot where i can let nori run free without worry :)
55This was an awesome spot! Our doggies had a great time and the owners had everything you needed as if they were at home ! Thank you!
55this was my first time using sniff spit and i couldn’t be happier! i recently adopted my pup and after getting bitten by an aggressive dog at the park i figured sniff spot would be a better alternative for a bit. cheryl was so nice and accommodating during our visit. nori had a blast and we will definitely be back asap :)
55This is a great, open, and clean spot for dogs where they can run around without you worrying if they'll get into anybody's stuff. There were multiple places to sit all around the yard, there's a bin of necessities for people and pups, and an easily accessible trash can for dog poop. There were only two things that threw me off; first, theres a cat colony outside the entrance to the spot. its very well taken care of and neat, and the cats left immediately, but my dog chases cats bc she wants to play with them so she was distracted for maybe 5 minutes. However, theres plenty of yard space so once we moved from the entrance she was fine. Second, one of the deck railings is a little taller than the fence line, so XL dog owners should be aware of the jumping possibilities (my medium dog isnt that athletic or smart lol). But, even with those things, this is still a 5-star spot, communication was on point + it was a great experience overall. Highly recommended and will be going back!
55Very clean and well maintained. We came at 4:30 in the evening in 100 degree weather and found plenty of shade.
55 Nice, and shady spots. Very well supplied for dogs and owners.
55It was amazing ❤️
55Fully fenced in a space big enough for my dog to chase a ball and run. He had plenty of spots to sniff and mark. There was a perfect place with shade and sitting.

HOST REPORTS

Sometimes

“There are feral cats that may be visible out front at times. We "inherited" 2 feral cats with the house. The previous owners had been feeding them and left us a note. We decided to keep feeding them. Then a neighbor across the street got evicted and the kitties that he swore he was going to take to a shelter got left behind. So we put out extra bowls and food in case they need it, especially in the winter. If they are out front at all they generally run away when they see people or dogs.”

Description

Nice large, open yard for lots of running around. Quiet setting with frequent deer sightings. We have hummingbird and bird feeders that are much visited. We have native plants that attract many butterflies. There is a kiddie pool for the dogs to splash in, seasonally. There are multiple seating areas for humans in both sunny and shady spots: a glider at the back of the yard by the pool, seating in the garden and ample seating on the large deck with another glider. Please feel free to utilize the deck. We do not enter the sunroom that is up against the deck when guests are here. Enjoy the hammock and saucer swing. The Sniffspot box has everything you need including toys and towels to dry off after a satisfying splash in the pool. We are constantly updating and improving our yard to make it as beautiful and fun as possible.

I have been a dog owner all of my life. Currently I have a deaf miniature Aussie, a Xoloitzcuintl (Mexican hairless), a senior chihuahua mix and a deaf senior dachshund with 2 teefers. They are all rescues. They absolutely adore our large yard and they wanted to share it with as many doggie friends as possible. They hope that you enjoy our yard as much as they do!

My husband and I bought this beautiful 23 acres with ambitions to have family friendly venue in the future with gardens and animals. But for now while we get all our ducks in a row we would love you to use it to spoil your dog for a running free experience. We have streams beds on both sides of the property, they are the property boundary to the east and north. The rock island trail runs on the south west corner section. Property has access to the trail. Its a beautiful place to have a walk ending with a picnic with your pets. The property isnt fenced in. So your dog must have recall, lease or electric collar for response. Perfect place to train hunting dogs. But please use your own decoys and leave our wild critters live. Very safe place to take your dog for exercise or training. Be kind and pick up after yourself and dogs. Might want to bring tick spray for both you and your dogs.
