Booking Policies
Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    I brought my Great Dane to give him a chance to stretch his legs while I did homework. There were so many lovely spots for me to sit with my textbooks and even more things for my doggo to sniff and check out. The property is absolutely beautiful. The waterfall and pond were lovely to listen to. Thank you so much for the visit! Can’t wait to come back and play with Merlot!

    This backyard is wonderful!! Both my pups had an amazing time! The yard is very large with lots of places for puppy exploration. The waterfall and pond make it so peaceful and serene for owners as well!! It was very comfortable and welcoming. It would have been easy for me to bring my computer to do some work or a book to read. I will go back for sure. Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

    Our dogs had a fantastic visit to Merlot’s Backyard. So so many places to sniff and explore. There was as much clean water as needed since we had access to a water hose and a water bowl. There were plenty of toys and interesting corners to explore. Our dogs hopped right into the pond and enjoyed a cool down on a hot day. The yard fence is completely secure with no holes or gaps in the fencing. Our dogs were free to explore every corner and did! They went home tired. Mission accomplished!!

    Such a beautiful backyard! There were toys and lots of fresh water for our dog. The yard was huge and lots of comfy cozy sitting areas. The host was very sweet and we can’t wait to come back. Our dog had a blast. Such a gem!

Our little guy Teddy is happy to share his trails with other dogs. We have everything - open meadows, an old apple orchard, forest, swamp and hills. We have plenty of wildlife though they tend to be shy. If you are lucky, you may see deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, martins, turtles or snakes. We have coyotes and foxes too, but they are very shy and mostly nocturnal. Trail map is found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yZ1wjy3bu41a22iYoVhgcYhKWrQvOisJ/view?usp=drive_link I recommend you stay on the trails if your dog has long fur, because of burs, but it's entirely up to you. Trails are open, mowed and maintained all year long. In the winter I use them for cross-country skiing. It's OK if you or your dog walk in the paths made by my skis. We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. You may walk past them if you wish but do not get nearer than 10m! While walking, consider collecting red dogwood or other artist/craft supplies. Check out our Extras section for pricing. If you wish to collect material other than what's on the list, contact us in advance so we can make arrangements. If it's not on the list, it's not for sale!
