We're 5 minutes from downtown near Vinnie's off Merrimon Avenue, fully fenced flat yard, with table and chairs for you to sit at while watching your dog have fun and do their business.... But that amazing 180 degree view overlooking this city of Asheville Grove parking UNCA Mount Pisgah and West! Every so often our neighbor has their dog out in their fenced yard, and we do have a dog inside our house. We work from home... But you'll be able to pull up park on the drive and have access to the fence yard without disturbing us or our pet. If your dog likes to dig up a yard or flowers this is not the right property :( We have onsite parking. If your dog has mobility issues, this is a fully flat yard with a gate entrance. There's also steps up and down from the deck or you can sit and watch.

This space was created with love, resilience, and dogs in mind, and we can’t wait for you and your pup to enjoy it! Because this is a brand-new offering, we’re sure there will be a few kinks to work out along the way, and we truly appreciate your patience as we learn and grow. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any feedback, ideas, or special requests — we want this to be a great experience for everyone. 🐶 A few quick housekeeping reminders: • Please clean up after your dog. Accidents happen — no worries! Just use the provided poop bags, mop, rags, and spray to clean up. • A poop trash can and scoop are located in the dog run for your convenience. • If you use the water bowls, please empty them in the sink at the end of your reservation. • Please return the space to the way you found it, including putting any toys or equipment back in their designated spots. 📹 Security Reminder: For the safety of our guests, dogs, and facility, this space is monitored by security cameras. Beautiful country setting down a quiet wooded driveway. Directly behind the house is about an acre of hillside fenced in. I also have a small seating area for you to hang while your pups run wild! Please park at the lower level by garage door. Enter the fenced area through the wooden door. Enjoy!

Abigail's Barkyard Basecamp!

.75 acres in lovely East Asheville, convenient to town! The yard has two private gated entrances on either side of the home, perched at the top of the hill for a secure experience. Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. There's plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about-- but they mostly mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with high-speed WiFi and extenders if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one shmedium). They're typically kept inside for a completely private visit—but, if your dog is social they’re happy to come out and play! Both are friendly and non-reactive and their company is always optional. We totally understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason!

A large pasture with fencing around everywhere. Bring a towel and enjoy! Chairs and picnic table, a hammock provided creekside! There is even a 10x16 Covered Gazebo! We hope you like it! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. No Digging! Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.
