Description

This spot is dedicated to our fur babies! It’s the perfect spot to give high drive, high energy, high loving dogs and their humans a safe place to run, bark, learn, train, swim, sniff, relax and smile! It’s a great place to throw a tennis ball, swim, relax, read a book and walk the camp road.

Hazards

Just a heads up…..A tree recently fell down and ripped the power lines off the building. The wires are down across the stairs. CMP came and shut the lines off. The power lines are NOT LIVE. It is scheduled to be fixed. The tree has been removed. The LAST STAIR headed down to the lake is steep. Please be careful. With all the current rain the lake water is high and the beach area is under water but your dogs will still be able to swim! There is a high rock wall that would not be safe for small children. Please be aware. Lastly, there are 2 metal poles right off the edge of the water. They are visible to see. They are for the docking system. The water level is high right now and the dock has been removed to prevent it from floating away.

Please return all toys back to the basket on picnic table and put umbrella down. No smoking on the property and please do not throw rocks in the water. Have a great time!

We had such a wonderful time sniffing and swimming! Mjae was sooo helpful and quick to respond to make sure we found the spot without any issues. We have found our new favorite sniffy spot! Thank you Mjae for sharing this amazing place with us!

We had a wonderful afternoon! Due to erosion from so much rain, wear water shoes and be careful getting in and out. It did not bother any of us, and certainly not the 4 dogs we brought. Really great spot! We will definitely be back. Our host was very helpful.

Don’t worry if it seems like you are driving forever down a dirt path. It is a *gorgeous* spot and really nicely maintained. My little swimmer loved chasing dragonflies and the access to the water was really great even without a dock! We will definitely be back!

It’s great to have a nice spot for your dogs to swim and have fun without having to worry about others. With all the rain we’ve had it was defiantly muddy, but other than that it was great!

Second time this week! We stayed for an extra half hour and it was perfect. The rain has not helped the drive in road at all.. VERY muddy and soft but got through no problem in my AWD. Love having this option so close to home! Sadie is already begging me to go back ☺️

This was a lovely quiet spot for us to take our pups for their first water experience. They enjoyed the yard more then the water LOL. It was nice to have a more relaxed setting to try this for our pups. This location was very clean and they have toys and potty bags available for clean up.

What a beautiful spot!!!! I may have enjoyed it more than the pup who’s still unsure about swimming 😬 Directions were helpful. Road was a little rocky in some spots..be careful with low clearance vehicles!

Welcome to our farm! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1840’s farmhouse and a big red barn. Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our fenced dog play yard! Please note the entire property is fenced and there is are two metal gates that you’ll need to open and close to enter the property and then the dog acreage. To access the fenced acre walk around the front of brick part of the house along the road and look for the metal gate. You can secure the gate with the chain and enjoy your visit!

My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let my dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed last fall and Boss passed away earlier this summer, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Our large fenced in yard in Gorham is long enough to really get your pup moving while playing fetch. 6’ fence on three sides, and a 4’ fence on the fourth side looking out into the woods. Plenty of tennis balls provided, and a hose for providing drinking water.

A walk in the woods! Deep woods, with stream and a swamp way out back. Nobody around so dogs can be dogs! You should have a good recall for your dog since they could be lost in the woods if not. Tick protection is strongly recommended. The trail is marked with orange ribbon. Please keep dog leashed until you get past the stream.

We have a fully fenced area that has kids toys and is plenty big for dogs to run and play together. We also have 7+ acres of cleared woods that will offer lots of animal smells, jumping, and digging if you want to explore!

This is our side/backyard. Please help yourself to the dog toys/sticks that are by the back porch, the hose & doggy pool. There is a pooper scooper on the side of the garage. Feel free to park in driveway or on street. We just finished a brand new deck you are more than welcome to chill on, please just cover patio furniture when done. Hoping to provide a fenced in space for neighborhood dogs to play. It is a quiet street, and great neighborhood. Enjoy!
